"I went, my daughter tried it out, and my father was told about their poor service but decided he’ll find out on his own I guess… this IHop’s service is REALLY slow. You get seated right away, but after that the drinks, food, refills, and getting the check take a long time. I love their food but won’t go there anymore."

"John is the absolute hardest worker I’ve ever seen, absolutely driven. Just a people’s guy. He was so kinda from start to finish, we came in a day after new years, they had no syrup, he walked across the street to Walgreens to buy me syrup just so I could have a great meal. This guy deserves the best tip you will have. If you have the honor of meeting John at the overnight crystal lake shift I highly suggest you enjoy the conversations you guys endour. "We ordered food to-go yesterday (on Christmas - which we normally do not do), and they were one of the few places open (hope the staff made great money for working on a holiday). The food was SO SO good, even when brought home. I DO think it's weird that what use to be the Viva La French Toast years ago, is now just 1 piece of toast for the same price I am thinking... this is not this location's fault though so still 5 stars!!"

"Seriously one of the greatest restaurants I've visited for not just breakfast but also for lunch and dinner. The environment is always warm and welcoming, and the food is delicious. I'm a huge coffee drinker and their coffee is always a delight. The employees who work here are also very polite, and attentive to detail."
