About the Business
Nick's Pizza & Pub is a family-friendly restaurant located at 856 Pyott Road in Crystal Lake, Illinois. We are known for serving award-winning thin-crust Chicago pizza in a variety of ways - dine in, carry out, or delivery! In addition to pizza, we offer Italian beef, pasta, and other delicious foods that can be catered for your upcoming celebration. Our banquet rooms can accommodate groups of up to 100 guests for private or semi-private events such as birthdays, anniversaries, team parties, and more.
Our goal at Nick's is to provide "The Nick's Experience" - a place where you can connect with loved ones, have fun, and feel at home. We also give back to the community by donating 25% of the net profits from our pizza sales to the Alexandria Leigh Autism Center at the end of each month.

"If you've even been to Bill's Pub in Lake county, literally the exact some environment and atmosphere. The pizza on the other hand was not like Bill's. Pizza was frankly bad. First bite immediately reminded me of something, and after a couple more pieces, it reminded me of a frozen pizza. The dough was flavorless. The Italian beef was the worst I've ever had and completely flavorless. I should have figured it was not going to be very good, because it was empty on a Sunday afternoon. Never again, I know they have other foods, but the pizza and garlic bread were worse than I could make."
"Words cannot describe how immaculate this place is. I go here once, and I LOVE it to the point I would drive all the way from ROCKFORD to go here. I was here for my Grandma’s 63rd birthday, and the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was incredible! So much decorations, and there was even an arcade! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to do anything there. We got our table fast, and staff was great! I ordered the B.Y.O Calzone, and oh my it was godly with the marinara. I was already full and wasn’t even able to finish it! Everything else was incredible too! If you ever go to Crystal Lake, definitely stop here and get some food!"
"Even though we showed up 40 minutes before they closed, they served us with kindness and patience. No rushing at all. Great food, and one of the coolest buildings ever."
"Collin was great on the phone but the pizzas were lacking especially the meat'za. It tasted (and looked) like someone had dropped a bottle of oregano or basil or ?? on it. The gluten free pizza was ok but because the toppings are distributed as "wholes" the flavors were weird."
"We ordered pizza from the Crystal Lake location to be delivered to a hotel about 1 mile away. It was guaranteed by 8pm. At 8:23 we called and they said it was 8 minutes away…at 8:45 we were very hungry and called and they said the driver was “just walking out the door”. In the end the food was delicious but was 55 minutes late and the driver was not polite about it. I would never get delivery again, but I would definitely do pick up or dine in. We had pizza and salad, both were great."
