"I originally posted a favorable review and I also recommended John and Scotts to several friends and family. However the last vist, the quoted me over $8000 for repairs. I got a second opinion and they were able to fix everything, plus got my emissions done plus changed the timing belt (not part of John and Scotts quote) for $2800. I don't think they were trying to scam me. But I don't think they gave good advice on what I really needed to do and what I didn't need to get the alarm cleared and my emissions passed. Theyare really nice and communicate great...so hate to leave this review. However I would have ended up spending all that money that I didn't needed to. They ended up losing me as a customer."

When referring friends to this business, I always stress that if they say you need the work done, you need it done. If the repair or service can wait, they'll tell you that as well. The team is honorable, courteous, kind and are experts in car repair. This is the one service provider that I do not question their recommendations. They have been extremely easy to work with and vehicle issues are explained concisely that even a car-layman like me would be able to understand. They will not add a service if my car does not need it, but they will suggest work and give a quote and other options if there is something that needs to be done.
