"I bought the peach apricot herbal tea, and did not realize it contained “artificial flavors”. The tea smelled like nail polish remover, and the tea had a chemical taste on the tongue. Usually most herbal tea is made of natural ingredients, so I didn’t think to check. A waste of $7, but better to throw it out than drink a bunch of chemicals. If you go there- read the labels!"

"I am giving Spice and Tea Merchants a 2 star rating based on my shopping experience there. While this place has an interesting collection of spice and tea blends, the product selection is not so amazing as to make up for poor customer service. I took a photo inside and was told they have a no photo policy. I immediately put my phone away, apologized, said I didn't know and that I took a photo as it was a nice shop. This led the woman helping us to launch into a long, patronizing and offensive lecture about taking photos in their business which I Ilistened to silently. This was unnecessary as my phone was already put away and out of sight. The kicker was when I was then offered a loyalty card of some sort. Needless to say I declined as I do not return to businesses where I receive negative customer service. Fortunately for me, there are other shops selling this type of product at the same, and sometimes better, level of quality and variety. I think they would do well here to invest in a couple of customer service workshops. Please notice that there are no photos of this business attached to my review."
