"Came about 20-minutes before close and enjoyed our complimentary drinks (we opted for beers) as we were staying at The DeSoto House Hotel. Pictured here is Bent River Brewing Co's DeSoto Lager (salt and lime - delicious) and Hernando's Ale enjoyed at the bar. Loved the wooden structures throughout the tavern and appreciated the friendly bar service. Also added a couple photos of the front entrance another day during daylight."

"I had the bbq pork sandwich on a pretzel bun. The pork was tasty, however there was only a tiny bit of bbq sauce. The bottom bun was so wet it was not edible. I tried the garlic fries that was suggested by another review.. it was just regular fries with garlic salt on them. Great house wine. The chili was outstanding. The staff and service was wonderful."

"An excellent place to eat with regards to the food. I happened to eat here on a Sunday evening. Was seated right away, but had to wait for a waiter/waitress. He eventually came and took our took our order. Later, after waiting for some time for our check, found out that the waiter was moonlighting (doing homework/college). I appreciate a business that allows their employees to work on homework, which ultimately betters everyone. Landon (I believe that's the name of my waiter) needs to balance both worlds. Excellent atmosphere and I enjoyed all of the past photos and history in general. Thank you the decent experience."

"6/10/23 Cindy is fantastic and fun to talk to. Highly recommend the raspberry ice tea. Also the steaks are great. This place has a great vibe about it. Very friendly and very attentive. Great ghost stories and would highly recommend you ask for him. As far as food had the fish tacos. Great flavor.
