"I haven’t eaten in restaurant for a few year but when I did it was charming and fun! Recently I have been ordering via Grubhub (was surprised to find them on there since we live pretty far away). Pizza was great but I’d recommend ordering it extra thin and possibly even well done for a great thin tavern style experience."

"This is the original Barnaby's location and has the best pizza of all of them. There was some sort of spilt among the family owners and the pizza recipes are not the same at the other locations according to the web history. Call ahead or order at the window like McDonald's and the will call your number when ready. Large, rustic dining room for seating. Ready parking. Recommended"

"I absolutely love their pizza and we enjoy ordering from here! But tonight I ordered a Cesar salad and this is what I got. Very disappointed that it’s literally a bowl of lettuce and wilted and unfresh lettuce at that. I guess I know that the $5 for a salad is not worth it. Could at least put some fresh lettuce, cheese and croutons in there. Definitely not what I was looking to order"

"The pizza is simply delicious. If you are visiting Chicago and are not to fond of the deep dish, i strongly suggest having this pizza. I didn't have the best experience with the service. Not that the staff was bad, but there were only 2 people doing everything. Had to wait like 15 min to get drinks. Don't know if the hour had something to do, but hope it's s not common."

"What a unique place , If you want a delicious Tavern style pizza this is a solid choice. The crunchy crust and sweet sauce is a a good combination. Expect a self serve service ; Pick up your pizza when ready and head over to the bar for your choice of beverage and off to your table choice . I enjoyed everything about this place."
