"Every Thursday we have a Italian beef day with my friends and the only place that satisfies our craving is Marisa’s! We have gone here for over 15 years now and love it! Italian beef special garlic bread with cheese and hot peppers is amazing. It beats most of the others Italian beefs out there!"

"I work nearby and after a coworker said that they had a better Italian beef than Portillos, I had to see for myself. I went there for lunch and lucked out and caught the Thursday lunch special which was an Italian beef with fries and a drink. They brought out an Italian beef topped with a layer of melted mozzarella cheese wrapped in lightly toasted garlic bread (the garlic bread was $1 extra) and the sandwich was complimented by an order of perfectly cooked crinkle cut fries with a side of cheese for dipping (the cheese was $ .50 extra). I took one bite and knew that I had made a great decision for lunch. It’s not better than Portillos per se, but they’re definitely on the same level so any Portillos fans out there reading this….I doubt you’ll be disappointed. I’m a fan and now going to be a regular customer. As far as everything else, the staff was friendly, the rest it was clean with plenty of seating and the food was hot and delicious. It’s worth a try."
