"I am from the Northeast and have struggled to find good pizza. While this is not New York Style, it is very very good, coal fired pizza. It reminds me of a New Haven style, but smaller. We got the #1 and #15 and loved both. I strongly recommend you try Slyce at Mellody Farms!"

"Meeting friends from MKE for Lucy and wanted to meet half way so I chose Vernon Hill. One friend pulled up of places and Slyce was first on the list. She sent it to me, I looked at the menu, and texted her back with YES!! We made a reservation for Friday at 1130 and ended up not needing reservations!! We were greeted and seated right away, the waiter touched our table and bright water. We explained this was the first time here and he walked us through the menu and lunch specials. We started with the lemon Basil wings and Cipollini and whipped cheese appetizers. Definitely a great idea even if you are not an onion fan, like me, the dish was worth it! But the wings were the BEST!! Outstanding scrumptious!! I got the #2 lunch special pizza. The flavor, the crust, and the meatballs (just wish there was more) so so good! (Craving it now as I write this!) One friend got the #4 and the other the #12 (I think). Both friends loved their pizzas! We had no room for dessert, but I would definitely be trying next time!! Cannot wait to go back and hoping they will open one in Naperville!!"

"Sicilian Salad and Artichoke Dip are great. Would absolutely order those again. Pizza was a little lackluster- dry and flavor was lacking. Not sure if I would order again. Portion sizes are great though, very filling."

"Amazing!!!. My husband and I have been saying we were going to try this place for the longest time. We went in during the weekday afternoon and it was empty so we were served quickly. We had the meatballs, lemon basil wings and a lunch bianca pizza #15. Everything was amazing. The meatballs came out with a huge salad that could feed about 3 people. The wings were enormous and so delicious. The pizza was perfect. Pricing was higher than I thought it would originally be but more than adequate with the quality and amount of food received. Worth every penny. I am mad that I was not coming here sooner."
