Maciano's Pizza & Pastaria

"We frequently visit this restaurant, including a lot of takeout. Their pizza is always delicious. This review has to do with the manager, Polo. We ordered an extra large pizza and a large garden salad for takeout. At home we noticed the salad was partially frozen. The cucumbers were soggy and some of the lettuce was wilted due to the frozen condition. My husband called the restaurant and talked to the manager, Polo. He challenged my husband on whether the salad was indeed frozen. He said it was fine in the morning in the cooler. He wanted my husband to bring it back so he could look at it! Really? If he couldn’t bring it back (which my husband had no desire to get back in the car and drive it back) then he asked my husband to take a picture of the salad and send it to him so he could determine if it was frozen or not. Really? This was a nine dollar garden salad and we really shouldn’t have gotten into this back-and-forth dialogue with the manager. My husband sent a picture of the salad to the manager who then called my husband to tell him he thought it looked fine although the cucumbers looked like they could be a little off. My husband challenged him as to why he was making such a big deal out of this. The manager finally said he would put a nine dollar credit to our name for next time. It should never have gotten this far; we are local residents who frequent this restaurant and the manager should have handled this as a professional."

"Oh my goodness! Amazing doesn’t even come close to how much we enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere of this little gem! We had a basic pepperoni lunch slice with soup. It was so delicious! Crust was the best I’ve ever had … perfectly crisp and full of flavor as was the entirety of the slice. I have never had a pizza with the ability to really taste the crust. Amazing experience! The soup was so full of fresh vegetables and so tasty. The bread they serve all tables was just a perfect starter to get us ready for this experience. All the food was so delicious. The young man that served us was just so wonderful and friendly and the atmosphere just added to the relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. We look forward to stopping here again when we get the opportunity to be in this part of the country again. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality."

"I was here with my friends for a Sunday night dinner. The restaurant is very cute with beautiful artwork and a relaxing vibe. The food was delicious and the server Masha G was very professional and kind! I would highly recommend this place to everyone who likes delicious Italian food and a friendly atmosphere. "Worst experience worst service - never recommanded- we collect our order in a box and fed birds . We entered ,another guests entered after us , the waiter started to welcome them and take their order before us, their food comes earlier for sure. After i asked her why they have beedn served before us she start to give us attitude and she will come to us with moody face while she will go to them with smile face and make them feel welcomed ...we felt insulted . Food : pizza thin crust came crust cooked, topic vegetables steamed-test awful filled with cheese no test , Buffleo chicken : came salty , more basicly Buffleo sauce , cheese and crust, bearly chicken found. The waiter never came to ask how the food , she need to be retrained for sure . Chicken wings were OK. -bruschetta had a weird test and old tomato. For the best pizza, I highly recommend California Pizza Kitchen."

"I always pass by this place whenever I go to go to the Starbucks next door. What a pleasant surprise we found when we walked into the restaurant—the interior was really nice with neat booth seating, and well painted walls surrounding the dining area. There’s only one person working at the front as host and server, but she was very friendly and efficient. We tried bruschetta, calamari, and penne vita mia, which were delicious. We also tried fruiti de mare, thin crust and deep dish pizza and garlic bread, which were alright too. I wish the deep dish had more tomatoes sauce in them, I felt it was a bit dry. And if you’re planning to order deep dish pizza, it does takes 45 min, so make sure to take that into mind when you arrive and order. They have specials Mon-Thurs, so take advantage of that. We went one Wednesday to take the 1/2 off wine bottles, they have a decent selection and good prices, which makes me happy :) I’ll visit this place again for sure, for their yummy appetizers and drinks."
