"Tammy, our waitress was fantastic. Very casual experience. The food was great. Loade, brisket nachos were very flavorful. The ribs were expertly smoked with a sharp smoke ring. The brisket was very tender. Mike, the owner, was very nice and took a few minutes to talk. He is also the grill master. Would definitely go back."

"My goodness, I have been to BBQ joints all over the world; Hong Kong, Tokyo, ATL, Texas, Nashville, Chicago, and of course STL. But little ole southern Illinois? This is a hidden gem QUITE LITERALLY. Very casual atmosphere, great prices for the great quality of food. I had ordered the 4-5 rib dinner, with baked beans, coleslaw, side salad, and a 1 pound baked potato topped with brisket. Every bite packed so much flavor, and the meat fell beautifully off the bone. All in all took about 15-20 minutes to prepare for me to pick up, and the front of house workers were all so nice (and the restaurant smelled amazing inside). Definitely will be coming back!"

"Let me just start with saying, these are amazing portions for the cost and the cost is NOT expensive. I got a full order of pulled pork nachos and it was $13 and my mom got a loaded baked potato with pulled pork for like $10. It was delicious! They are just opening so they don't have a lot of staff and have a note up, but even with that we were seen very quickly and our waitress was super attentive and nice. Definitely recommend giving it a whirl"
