"I can't say Popeye's Chop House is a secret find, I am just late to visiting them. The food is so delicious and the service is so great, it is no surprise the house was full of happy customers. Some of the most tender, delicious steak I have had, perfectly cooked. Their menu is more than just beef selections, great options for those looking for something other than beef. Good selection of salads and side dishes to go alongside your perfect steak. The service was great, everyone is so friendly. Lively atmosphere but you can still talk with people at your tables. Great restaurant for a special occasion or if you are just looking for a perfect dinner."

"We had reservations for 5 on New Years Eve. While the restaurant was full we were seated very near our reservation time. Our waiter was great, as was the food. I had the prime rib my wife had the pork chop. We had salads on our table within minutes of being seated. Our food was there a short time after that.They are a very well oiled machine to be able to keep everything flowing like that."

"It's one of my favorite restaurants in the St. Louis metro area. The steaks are top notch, the best chicken livers I've ever had. Very reasonable prices. The specials always sound great. Good friendly service. My only complaint is I wish it was closer to home!"
