"This place hit the spot for some fast BBQ! Accessible and convenient location for a quick working lunch, the staff were polite and professional. Food was delicious; not cheap, but very reasonably priced considering quality and portions. Sauces were plentiful, and a nice selection of pickles and fixings."

"20230906 Wow!! Very dogfriendly. Puppies are allowed to go inside to order food! This restaurant reminds me of Mission BBQ in Northern VA. I ordered the combo with turkey and brisket with spinach souffle and corn. Delicious. So happy that I picked this restaurant for a meet up with my friends who live in the area."

"Heard about Sugarfire from a friend. We were on the way back home and stopped in. Ordered a combo plate with brisket and pulled pork with 2 sides. I ordered the pit beans and au gratin potatoes. Also ordered fries. Brisket was amazing. Pulled pork was good but a tad dry. The portion sizes for meats were small and portion sizes for sides were quite large. The potatoes were really good and the beans were amazing as were the fries. They had a good variety of sauces as well and they were good. It was pretty warm in the restaurant almost, but not quite, uncomfortable. The staff was good. Overall, a good BBQ joint. I would definitely recommend."

"My experience has been so-so. This is the 3rd time I’ve been to this location in the past 6 months and that’s been consistent. The sides taste hot, but not fresh, like they’ve been made far in advance. My scalloped potatoes tasted ok, but were very mushy. My cold side, the grape salad, was pretty good. It’s like a Waldorf salad without the apples. My protein yesterday was the turkey. I wish it would’ve been more flavorful. It was tender, but didn’t taste very smoked or seasoned. The portion sizes are on the smaller side for myself being a 200lb person. The staff are very friendly and were very attentive to me and my family. I would be willing to return."

"Pretty good meats but the sides are really lacking. The bark on the ribs and brisket was very nice and seasoned and smoked great. They have a nice selection of sauces. The big cookie was also VERY tasty. The sides of green beans were way over seasoned and the deviled egg potato salad was bland and mushy. They specialty sandwiches look very appealing and I will be ordering one of those next time. They were out of the daily special by the time I got there. This might not be the best bbq in town but you can definitely find something good here."
