"People in Illinois are so lucky to have a Nashville staple right here in the metro east. This is my absolute favorite BBQ in Tennessee. It was exactly the same as the locations back home even down to the music. Glad I stopped in."

"I have been here twice now and each time I have had a really good bar-b-que platter each time. I highly recommend grabbing the baked beans and potato salad as your sides. When a dish is labeled as spicy they are not lying and I love that."

"I really like this place. Took my son here after a visit to SIUE. I'm definitely glad we made the stop. We both ordered the burnt ends platter. Let me tell you this, I have had a lot of BBQ joints burnt ends in my day, and these were amazing! They were on a pillowy bed of some very well executed grits! The meat was seasoned to perfection, and the sauce was on point! For anyone who has ever been to the south and had proper grits, you may agree with me that these grits are the real deal! My only point of contention with this place is the size of the sides. They are a bit on the small side, but they are excellent! If I'm ever back down here, I will most definitely be back!"

"Driving through Illinois on I55, it's worth the extra 12 minutes to get here. Food was delicious and fresh. The brisket tacos were packed full of flavor and tender brisket, with incrediblely fresh crisp tortillas.. the fries were perfect. We loved everything about the experience including the structural design and decor. We would definitely stop by again when given the opportunity."
