Candy Cloud - South Elgin

"First timer. I was excited to try out this place as my kids love boba. However walking into a place called Candy Cloud I was confused as to why the aesthetic was all black? It’s not cute, does not feel welcoming or fun. It has no vibes like this is the place you want to be to hang out. Just TVs with a loop of someone making and serving boba tea. They have kiosks for you to order with, which I’m ok with. But the staff were all together in the back talking amongst themselves not using the best of language. No greetings, however the young lady did smile when she gave me my drink. My son liked his drink, it was a lemonade with mango puree, peach syrup and strawberry popping boba. Nothing special. The container it came in looked cool. Not enough to bring me back though."

"We had the matcha boba and the uve boba. Both were tasty yet not very sweet even with the oat milk and honey syrups. The atmosphere is very bland with TV screens. Wish it had more of a comfy vibe to enjoy the drinks"

"I went here yesterday with my sister and her friend. The staff were super helpful and kind when it came to ordering. The employee serving me offered to make me a different drink if I didn't like it. I LOVED my matcha milk tea drink! The flavors of the tea paired perfectly with the strawberries I chose to add in. The addition of the sweet foam to my drink enhanced the flavor too! I will definitely return here for more drinks in the future. :)"

"Came in for the grand opening and ordered a few drinks for my girlfriend and myself, they were all delicious. The employees were very friendly and helpful, being available to answer any questions about the menu. They offered oat milk and traditional dairy options on all the drinks which was nice as well."
