"My recent visit to the McDonald's in Elgin, Illinois, left me with mixed feelings. It's not often that I rate a fast-food chain with two stars, but my experience here was a bit of a rollercoaster. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and attentive. They greeted me with a smile and took my order promptly. The service was efficient, and I didn't have to wait long for my food, which was a plus. However, when it came to cleanliness, the restaurant fell short. Tables were sticky, and the floors were in need of a good cleaning. It made the dining area less inviting and comfortable. Now, let's talk about the food. The taste was consistent with what I expect from McDonald's, so no major complaints there. However, my order was not entirely accurate. I received the wrong sauce for my McNuggets, which was a minor but noticeable error. On the bright side, the restroom was clean and well-maintained, which is always appreciated. In conclusion, the McDonald's in Elgin provided a mixed experience. While the friendly staff and efficient service were highlights, the cleanliness and order accuracy left something to be desired. It's a decent option for a quick meal, but improvements in these areas would greatly enhance the overall dining experience."

"Ordered a McRib and the meat was slopped onto the bun and about a third of it was outside the bun. They do this almost every time I order a double cheeseburger also."

"I visited the place on 9/13 very late at night, to be exact 5 minutes before closing time and I want to share my excitement and the lovely experience I had ! I only got one name, Veronica, but there was one more girl. Not to say these girls 5 mins before closing, they bake the fries for me, they were friendly, welcoming, professional and even offered me the extra fries made on that batch !!!!! People like you are NOT around these days !!!! Congratulations for enjoying your job and showing!! Wishing employees like you are everywhere!!"

"The employee who took my order was friendly. My order came out fast it was jist as ordered and hot fries were also very hot and crispy. The place is still closed for eating inside and self order booths are closed to keep everyone safe which I think it's a good idea."
