"So this cafe was well worth the visit... the kid and I were getting some new driver hours in...we came across this cozy little place that was really a diamond in the rough... the service was great, food made or cooked to order and I really loved the country charm. You must try the burgers and for dessert...the pies...excellent pies... I was super happy we decided to try this place. Next road trip, we are coming back. Thanks Renee( the owner), we really appreciated everything!"

"First the look of the place is so cute. it’s old fashioned and fun. We were instantly greeted by the owner Renee who asked us to take a table and brought is the menu. everything you could think of available and to custom order. and the selection of home made jams made my head spin. delicious. the history of the place is really cool. we are coming back tomorrow!"

"My wife and I went to the Serena Cafe for lunch, yesterday. The Serena Cafe is very cozy and homey. It is very pleasant and well decorated, though, well worn. My wife ordered some type of hamburger. I ordered the jalapeno hamburger. Both burgers were good. Not great, good. We both ordered diet Dr. Peppers in the can. I, later, ordered a second Dr. Pepper, but the restaurant was all out, so I settled for a diet Coke. For dessert, I ordered a piece of blueberry creme pie. It was listed as an option on the magic marker white board. They were all out so I had chocolate pie. It was good. Not great, good. All things considered, I will say that we both enjoyed our lunch at the Serena Cafe. The cafe's shortcomings added to the small town cafe atmosphere, thus, they were not a detraction. I recommend the Serena Cafe to anyone who wants a relaxing, old fashioned meal."
