"I made a long-term reservation for a room at this property via Airbnb. (I needed a long-term place due to a personal emergency.) Six hours later, my situation unexpectedly resolved and I no longer needed accommodations. I contacted the host, Colleen, and she refused to issue even a partial refund. In total, the reservation was in place for about eight hours. I had no recourse via Airbnb since the place was listed as "pay in advance" but the complete lack of consideration for a cancellation that only impacted the property's availability for eight hours disgusted and appalled me. Not what I expect from someone who self-describes with the phrase "I love hosting!" on the company page. I paid about $2000 for the privilege of having a reservation for 8 hours. Buyer beware this heartless money trap of a property."
