"It's only about ten minutes from downtown so not bad if you have a car and don't care to pay the daily parking fees. The rooms were sizable. The sound of the hallway didn't travel much in our room mainly bc the air conditioner is ridiculously loud. For the price, I feel like they should be able to afford better toilet paper."
"Riley checked us in and was so sweet and helpful. Went to our room, and there was a very strong chemical smell. We went right back downstairs, and Riley was able to refund us in full after getting approval. Riley did a great job helping us!!"
"Bathrooms with a view. The interior is really due for a make over. Really needs to be brought up to date. Flooring is stained or coming apart. Room and bathroom were very clean. The bathroom has one wall with a full window, there is a full shade to cover this if you are less adventurous. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous, welcoming, and helpful. Five star staff in a 2 star hotel."
"I didn't read the reviews until I actually got here. I saw everything from bed bugs talked about recently, to bad service, to rooms being half cleaned. I did digital check-in and the electronic room key so I never experienced service at all. I can only assume it is good enough based on everything else I saw. Also, one of the reviews had a response from the hotel that stated they are in renovations. I didn't see any signs of that at all, but maybe they are doing it in phases. My room and floor, floor 5, have not been touched yet. The pros. My bed was comfortable, I had towels, soap, lights all worked, door locked, bathroom was otherwise usable and clean, and two water bottles were available. The cons. I may have been a little nit-picky on this stuff, but this was my first time in a Courtyard as I am switching to Marriott from Hilton due to the company I work for. The hallway smelled quite stale that I was concerned for my room. The smell of the room was fine. I immediately notice my wall hvac unit was cracked and broken, but still seemed to work. The curtains were closed so it was dark in my room. Usually a cleaned room has curtains open and some lights on. The TV is crooked. The mount seems straight so my guess is someone messed with it and when seating it back caught a cable or something and now it sits funny. It looks trashy. At the desk below the TV there are no accessible outlets. I did find one, at the full reach of my power supply and I had to move furniture to get to it. This needs to get resolved for future business clients. The desk seems to be part of the furniture set but they don't line up, and it looks like it was spare furniture - busted up on one corner, and the laminate was warping on another part, and the two pieces don't line up - just looks thrown together. The corner of the carpet looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in a while. The light switch for the over-desk lamp is actually behind the TV. It took me a while to find it before going to bed. The shower hot/cold water nozzle is marked backwards. Hot is cold, and cold is hot. I had it on hot for a while thinking it needed to warm up or something. As I went to give up on a shower and turned it back towards cold I noticed it got hot. A small detail, but I didn't have a floor towel. Not sure if this property uses those, but not sure I have ever been in a hotel that didn't have one. Seemed like an oversight. I am 6'2", and the mirror in the bathroom wasn't tall enough. I had to duck down and squat a little to mess with my hair in the morning. All in all, I survived, but for my first experience at a Courtyard I am not impressed at all. I won't have time to try the breakfast, but many of the reviews stated it may not even be set up, just depends on whether the person to does that shows up or feels like doing it. I will peek when I go down. I am ready to get out of here though. Next Marriott I will try to avoid a Courtyard, unless this is just a property that needs some help."
"We definitely wanna appreciate Mo and his staff with all the accommodations they did for me and my family. The staff is amazing and they’re definitely ready to help you. Rooms: I had to figure out the water knobs for the shower considering one was broken so I didn’t know if it was hot or cold or even on for that much. You could still see the stains from where a Matt was previously at. Another thing that caught me off guard was that there was no microwave. Breakfast: I’m just gonna go ahead and so grab breakfast outside the hotel. But they do have a Starbucks coffee was exceptional. Overall we still were satisfied and genuinely it was because of the staff. So truly appreciate y’all. I know we will come back for sure. -Water Tower"
