"Ive lived here for about 4 years and it has been my first home to my girl and I. We also have two dogs and love the area, there are 2 local dog parks and a field across the street for them to run. Our property manager Destiny has been a great towards during our stay, I highly recommend working with her! She will get your issues solved and make it happen, and is a great person to be around."
"I’ve lived in this complex for a long time, many years. I’ve chosen to stay here with my family for numerous reasons. The price is affordable, staff is so friendly and helpful, the layout is perfect, the proximity to everything is so close and easy to jump on the freeways, the lake and track around it are so charming, and like all apartment complexes they do have issues that arise but are always able to work through it and help their residents with their issues. I plan to stay here longer if possible for the future. It truly is our home."
"Super professional and fun crew at Lakeside, especially Destiny who works with me the most! After having a poor move in with sister apartments at the Enclave I had to back out and find a new place, the very next morning I went into the lakeside and had talked to Destiny. She was and still is incredibly helpful and considerate, she got me into a unit with the keys within the same day, it was the fastest and smoothest move in I've seen. The apartments themselves are also great and is a nice and quiet community. Definitely love it here and am grateful for the staff."
"The management at this place is abhorrent, earning it a solid 0-star rating. In short, terrible management, employees vaping on the job, garage break ins, and amenities that are always closed I moved here in the summer of 2021, when the complex was under a different management team. Since then, the new owners have brought the place to the ground. A perfect example is when I submitted a request to fix a broken kitchen drawer in November. It took until April the following year for it to be addressed. Another case involved my stove needing new parts, promised by Wendy, the property manager at the time, in April 2022, yet here we are, parts still pending. The incompetence of the management and staff is a simply put, a nightmare. During my 2023 rent renewal, Lakeside emailed me FOUR days before expiration, despite the contract saying they will reach out prior to my 60 day notice date. After numerous back-and-forths with Carol, the property manager at the time, I was offered 8 weeks free with a marginal rent increase. Getting those 8 weeks was hell, requiring me to visit the office daily, and get multiple run arounds. Eventually lakeside covered my Octobers rent because the incompetent staff couldn't've figure out the issue for 2 month. Fast forward to the 2024 rent renewal, where they quoted me $1471/month to stay. Online that same unit was renting for $1315. I reached out to Destiny, the assistant manager, who said she would adjust it for me. I guess that was too difficult for her. Whenever I would reach out (consistently for 2 weeks) she would always be "busy." We had time scheduled and when I had called, Alejandro mentioned she was in office and he was going to grab her. I was put on hold for a whole FIFTEEN minutes only to to be told she was no longer in the office. This lack of respect for retuning tenants was my final straw. I put in my notice right after that call and never looked back. Even after notifying them of my departure, I was met with at least 3/4 calls asking if I planned to continue my lease, showcasing the joke of a management structure. On top of that, catching front desk associates vaping INSIDE the office adds to the absurdity. Shifting gears to the amenities. The gym and pool are rarely open, and when they are, there's always an issue. The gym lacks useable machines and dumbbells. Its almost like Lakeside is proud of this. Go to their website and under the "Features" tab you can see an image of the dumbbell rack not full. Package lockers were broken for at least a few months, leading to UPS/Amazon displacing packages because the complex is so damn confusing. My neighbors apartment was 900 numbers less than my unit despite them being literally next to each other. The garage, once baked into the rent, turned into a $15 monthly fee and six months of construction forced me to park on the roof daily and walk down to my bottom floor unit. Management also ignored the broken gates, even during the reno. There have been multiple break-ins they DID'NT bother notifying us about. Once, a trailer was stolen and I only found out by seeing the cops and asking bystanders what had occurred. Id much rather pay 10x for a secure and clean garage vs the lie Lakeside sells. The trash situation was no better. The $35 valet trash service regularly did not pickup our trash. This led to garbage overload by the chutes. Instead of fixing the issue, they closed off dumpster chutes with ineffective signs (there are no cameras). I truly feel bad for the employees who had to clear out the dumpster at the bottom of the garage. Finally, they tout being pet friendly but its all lip service. MULTIPLE times I have seen dog feces sit in the hallways for weeks before being taken care of. Additionally, you are forced to get lakesides 300Mbps Wi-Fi for $65 monthly provided by astound. However, astound has that same plan for $20/month. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The new owners cannot fix this place. Wish I moved out earlier."
"If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I lived at this complex for a total of 6 years first 3 were at the front of the complex where things were kept nice. I moved in with my parents for a year during COVID and moved back to the back of the complex for the last 2 years where it was not nice at all. The hallways are full of trash and bird poop. The hallways stink like theirs a dead body somewhere or like weed. I complained several times about my ac not working the lowest it would get was 79 and that was at 6am. My dryer did not work had to dry clothes 3 times. I could not sit on my balcony because you could literally see rats crawling on the ledge. Dog poop everywhere. Could not use the pool because it was always full of non residents having parties. The gym is basically non existent. The parcel lockers never worked had several packages stolen. My electricity bill for a 1 bedroom apartment was $400 because of the ac not working. Management does not care about you or your safety at all. I complained several times about my safety because my neighbors are drug dealers and they didn’t care. My car windows where broken twice. Gates to the garage never worked. Just a awful filthy place to live. Do not move here."
