Villages at the Domain

"Overall, the location and place is great. There’s lots of things to do around the area. Cooper and Esperanza in Leasing were a great help. There’s definitely a few minor security issues such as the parking garage gate being broken and some doors to the building being unlocked/broken. Hoping those get fixed soon. Inside the apartment when I moved in there were a few small plumbing and appliance things that needed to be fixed, but Jimmy and Christian in maintenance are super responsive and got those fixed for me quickly! Since being repaired I haven’t had any other issues with the unit!"

"My experience with Villages at the Domain has been wonderful. My move in went very smoothly, one of the best move ins I’ve had so far. Cooper assisted me from start to finish. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. Totally recommend him! I’ve been living at Villages at the Domain for almost 2 months now, and I completely love it. Location and leasing staff is 10/10!"

"For the Domain, the rent is very affordable. However, I don't think the property makes their best attempt to keep the property safe. The property is supposed to be secure, but door locks have been broken for years. The parking gate has been broken for years. My care has been broken into 3 times since living here. Now, they did just attempt to fix the aforementioned items, but they're already broken once again. The office has gotten better, but they did not show one ounce of empathy when I complained about my car being broken into. That's what's most upsetting."

"I've lived at Villages at the Domain for 12 years, and I absolutely love it! The location is unbeatable. The amenities are awesome. The property is well kept. Maintenance requests are addressed the same day, and the office staff is the best! They're friendly, professional, and responsive, especially Esperanza - she's a total rock star! Kudos to her and the team for making Villages the best place to live at the Domain!"

"I would not recommend moving here, and I’m highly suspicious of the 5-star ratings this community received. I have lived here for almost 2 years now, and the office staff (while very friendly) do not provide any reasonable fixes to the issues this community has. First and foremost, security at this property is atrocious. The parking garage gates are always broken due to non-residents driving through them to park in the rooftop resident parking. Let me clarify- to conduct sketchy business on the rooftop. There have been multiple cars I’ve witnessed with broken windows, and our own car has dents consistent with a break-in attempt. The gates to the apartment building do not work and subsequently make it easy for non-residents to enter the buildings. I’ve reached out and shared my concerns multiple times with the office staff, however, they do not care. They said at the beginning of the year that they would be installing more cameras - not done. They have promised a new gate system for the last 2 years - not done. By the way, they’ve also validated my concerns in emails at different times alerting residents to break ins. There are abandoned cars in the parking lot which they sometimes clear out after months at a time, and this morning at 4am, a gentleman who appeared to be homeless was knocking on our door. It’s not a safe place to live. I reported what appeared to be mold on the hallways walls only for it to be painted over. You can see the mold coming back. The picture I took was months after the ice storm where they cut out sections of he roof presumably for mold. Never bothered doing that to the walls, just painted over the dark spots. The community is also very dirty and not kept up to the standards that should be expected living in the domain. Elevators are always broken, so if you have a disability, I would not recommend living here. Recently the elevator was broken and not in use for a month in our building. I’ve attached pictures of the broken gates, dirty halls, and other so you can see what I’m talking about. I’m not writing an angry review to vent, I’m just trying to share what you’d be getting into if you signed a lease here."
