"Have lived here for almost 3 years now and keep renewing my lease for a reason. The level of luxury living for the price cannot be beat. Management and staff very friendly and responsive. A lot of them live here so they know the issues and care about fixing them. Have never had issues with repair requests. Love the amenities. Great view of downtown from the pool. Very pet friendly. Great location 10 minute walk to Hermann park, right next to metro which is easy to take downtown, and close to TMC so perfect for healthcare professionals working there."

"The Southmore apartments offer convenient amenities like a concierge and valet parking, but some features feel outdated. The pool is a highlight, providing a nice retreat. However, the floor plans are mediocre, with inconvenient restroom placement – guests have to walk through the bedroom. At $2.5k, I found the price steep for a layout that didn't fully impress. During my recent tour of the Southmore apartments, the absence of a clear organizational structure was a notable drawback. The front area, particularly near the concierge, seemed chaotic with numerous boxes being organized. This lack of order left me feeling that there could be a more efficient and streamlined system in place. A well-organized environment not only enhances the visual appeal but also contributes to a more positive and welcoming experience for potential renters. The overall impression was that a more structured approach to managing logistical aspects could significantly improve the overall appeal of the property."

"Stunning place. The Museum District Location is optimal with many things within walking distance: Museums, Herman Park, Miller Outdoor Theater. The staff is Amazing, as well as all of the amenities, and everything you would expect with luxury apartment living. Special shout out to the awesome Leasing agent Rio Henley who is professional, knowledgeable and was super helpful in giving all the pertinent information for us to pick our perfect place and helping to make the whole move-in process go very smoothly!"

"The Southmore is a fantastic place to live. Just a few blocks from Houston’s museums, it is beautiful and quiet with Houston’s best skyline views. The culture of the building is great — our neighbors are friendly and interesting people. Also friendly and wonderful are the staff. Rio Henley, our leasing professional, was outstanding, went above and beyond to make our move-in process go seamlessly and was very knowledgeable about the property and was great all our questions. The concierges David and Aisha are so helpful, always with a genuine smile. And Estephanie is a top-notch valet, very professional. The building is beautiful and thoughtfully appointed with art and very pleasing to the eye."

"This month will end my residency at The Southmore. As I reflect on the past 5 years of living here I have 0% compliants and it is my #1 recommendation for anyone looking at leasing in Houston. From having such a great concierge personnel like David to greet you and all the amenities I have felt the 5 star treatment during these last 5 years. Management is very attentive, as well as the maintenance department. I have hope but understand if none of the complex in Seattle can meet the excellent stay I had at the Southmore."
