"Normally, I shop LL Bean and have been extremely pleased with their quality over the years. However, I was not 100% happy with the winter coat I had purchased from LL Bean, so I went to Eddie Bauer. The down coat that I purchased from Eddie Bauer kept me warm when walking outside all winter. There are very few stores in Grand Prairie, though; you could probably fit all the stores from Northwoods and Grand Prairie into one center."
"The ladies working the day I was in were amazing. She helped me get my sweater exchanged easily! It is my favorite sweater too. It also came early so I am one happy customer!"
"Went in to purchase some luggage. The lady working was very nice. We found lots of things to purchase, but unfortunately they don't carry anything in 2XL Tall in the store. Everything stopped at XL Tall."
"I ordered the Men's Thermal Henley shirt (Item # 0330068) and was unhappy with the color. I ordered the Heather Navy. The picture online looked a darker blue. What I got was a very faded looking navy. The shirt looks old being that faded. If you are looking for something dark and "sharp" looking, I would not recommend. It was a gift and did not have time to exchange. I would not purchase it again."
"I have shopped at Eddie Bauer for several years and never had a problem with purchases or returns till this year. I placed an order online for 4 flannel shirts for my husband a few months ago. I also needed some new long sleeved v-neck shirts and couldn't find any colors that I wanted online so I called the Peoria IL store, the closest store to my house, and talked to Jeanette who advised me that they had 3 of the colors I wanted. I gave her my credit card number and she shipped them to me but when I received them, they were crew neck. By then my husband got his flannel shirts but they were too small. I called Jeanette at the Peoria store and she said I could return them with the flannel shirts, which I did. I also included all the appropriate paperwork-receipt and reason for return. I received credit for the flannel shirts on my credit card account but not the 3 long sleeved shirts so I emailed their Customer Care department. I received an email back stating that I would get the missing credit in 10 business days. I did not receive that credit so I called the Customer Care department and talked to Terri B. who advised me that they did not have record of receiving those three shirts so they could not give me my $47.81 back. I requested a manager and she said she would refer the issue to one and call me back. I didn't receive a call back so I call the Customer Care department back again and was informed that per the manager, since they didn't have the shirts, they couldn't credit my account. I asked her what I was supposed to do and she suggested I call the Peoria store. I did that and spoke to Emily and she said that I should call the Customer Care department and I explained to her that I had already done that. I requested that she escalate the problem to her manager and she said she would. She didn't call me back so I called her and she basically said the same thing as the reps at the Customer Care department, that they couldn't give me credit because they didn't have the shirts. Anyway, they had to have received the 3 crew neck long sleeved shirts because they received the flannel shirts in the same package and credited me for those. So now I am out $47.81 and really have no proof that they were in the same bag. I have been a loyal customer for 40 years and I haven't been treated fairly. First I was shipped the incorrect product and now I have lost the purchase price of $47.81."
