"I have lived on this property for 10 years and watched the community decline year after year. The management has turned into slumlords, and the mold in the apartment units is gut-wrenching. There are rats in the attics; there is no security. The property gate has been broken for at least three years. The trash dumpster overflows with trash. Pet owners leave dogs to poop on property grounds. The list goes on and on. I eventually moved out after I was told that my lease would not be renewed because they wanted to renovate my apartment unit. I was given the option to move to another unit on the property. But the amount of rent that they charge and the poor management make me decline. Laura, the property manager, informed me that I would receive my $200 security deposit back within 30 days, in September 2023. As of today, 1/20/2024, I have not received my security deposit back. I have taken this a step further and have made a formal complaint with the Houston Apartment Association. It is unfortunate that the management of this property thinks that "we" are incompetent and will just let things sweep up under the rug! Please refund my money."

"This has been by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. The price of rent is okay but it’s the management that runs the scene that’s makes the apartments great or not. No matter the location. If there is an awesome management team things will run smoothly. The day I moved here they were still working on fixing my apartment for me smh which smelled horrible. I later found out the previous tenants had to do an emergency move due to mold in the apartment hints to the strong order in the unit. They moved us in 3 days after them. It’s just been tricks and lies. Two plates on the stove were not working, dog hair everywhere especially in the blinds. The amount of filth in the corners and sinks and bathrooms. The master bath had such a bad odor we couldn’t even use it. During all of this I’m pregnant and almost at my due date. They later eventually tried to move us BUT they were going to raise the rent. I could go on and on. The roaches go crazy!!!! The trash in the complex and before you even enter the complex is the most disgusting scene! I can’t make it make since. If you’re considering Greentree perhaps do it when there is a better and responsible management that cares about the residents. That’s really important. I won’t lie to anyone when it comes to reviews just because but make a wise decision when considering. Peace and blessings to all who come across this review."

"The management is horrible. Trash dumpsters overflow and trash is all over the ground and will sit there for days on end. The pet bag trash cans are never emptied. A pool was built just to be looked at. The gate worked 3 days of me living there a year and a half. Water will be turned off on a whim, morning, noon, or night without notice. The water was also brown and dirty for a couple of days. The laundry facilities are nasty and an entire waste of space and children smoke in there and homeless people live in there at times. The office staff and maintenance man will also enter your apartment without permission for no reason. The pictures that are posted on the website are not truthful. The model apartment is NOT like the rest of the apartments."

"Trash, roaches, gunshots, broken gates, etc. Whats not to love about this place. Ignorant lease staff who can't handle confrontation, mismanaged funds like building pools instead of fixing gates or completing work orders. We need a 0 star"
