Gables Tanglewood 5740 San Felipe Street, Houston, TX 77057

"I lived at the gables for 2 years. I loved the property and my neighbors. Very quiet neighborhood. Walls very thick. I did have a unit near the trash room but the second floor stayed up to par for most of the part . When I moved into the unit I did have to make a hand full of maintenance request but they were fixed quick ; there very responsive ! I love the maintance team there my favorites! Unfortunately coming towards the end of my lease my house was broken into from the second floor from the balcony and no one was aware until I came home from vacation. The cameras I did have fell from the impact of the patio window being hit by two giant rocks so I couldn’t receive any footage. Also I couldn’t obtain footage from the leasing office . They didn’t really care to get to the bottom of who could’ve possibly broken into my house . There is security officers on the property but they weren’t aware either !! There usually sleeping in the car in the garage when there souposed to be doing there job . They wouldn’t allow me to break my lease at all the managers were rude and didn’t have a care in the world which is unfortunate.So as far as safety and sympathy I highly don’t recommend but everything else was fine ."

"I’ve moved here in December, quiet and peaceful, beautiful amenities and community. I toured the community and Gina was very patient and showed me 3 different apartments, I leased a 1 bedroom apartment, and she was communicating and explaining everything in details, answering all my questions, she was so professional, friendly and kind! Thank you Gina, I love my apartment!!!! Great service/maintenance team keeping the community clean and really fast to attend any repairs The Community Manager Chris has always been very Kind and always willing to help with anything related to my apartment. I love that they communicate and keep us updated thru emails about anything going on. The Concierge Lady has also been very kind and helpful when it comes to packages or my mail. The community feels safe and my dog loves to go on walks around the neighborhood!"

Firozah has recently joined the team and is always a smiling, welcoming face when I get home. She’s always going out of her way to accommodate needs and getting mail delivered in a timely manner. "This is my happy place… I was motivated to right about my experience here at Gables because I was astounded by some of the more negative reviews written about this place. My experience with this location, the staff, maintenance, and the people has been nothing less than exceptional! Every issue I’ve ever had has been met with a friendly response and an extremely helpful staff looking to do whatever they can to solve it. Somethings are out of their control but if that’s the case they make sure to communicate that with me. I’m never just left in the dark. The location has a beautiful view, with a relaxing rooftop, and convenient restaurants downstairs!! The staff here are very personable and friendly!! I could rave about this place for hours. If you’re looking for a new place definitely come book a tour with either Ethan or Nadia. Both are very knowledgeable and eager to help! I promise you wont regret it!! :)"
