Park at Voss Apartments

"Worst apartment ever. They suck you in with lac luster amenities that barely work half the time and then you sign a lease and they forget you exist. I have survived here for a year and surviving is a stretch. Maintenance here is a joke. You can put in a request to have standing water removed from your apartment but unless you walk a leasing agent to your unit and make them take pictures you won’t get it fixed. The A/C broke and they suggested I buy a window unit because it’s “too cold for maintenance to go in the roof (65 F)”. Another reason to take this off your list of apartments to move to. I put in a work order to exterminate bugs living in my unit and all that was done was set traps for roaches. Now I have not only roaches but bed bugs and fleas. I do not have animals in my unit and I never have brought animals in my unit. So if you’re thinking about moving to this land fill of an apartment let me stop you now. ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE IS BETTER."

"Final update : We’ve terminated our lease early. This community needs a lot more help with leadership, organization, communication and some diversity in the office it’s also important to know you can’t reach anyone ever by phone if your calling. The international call center is the only people who receive the calls. So you’ll have to go into the office and get assistance that way or send an email. But again if your looking for a place on a budget to get closer to your over all goals this property will be a good starting place, as long as your two bed is max $1000 like ours was, however the utility bills will be between $350-$450 per month. While it’s a convenient nice neighborhood the homeless and criminals target Park At Voss sleeping in halls and taking folks tires. I’m assuming because of the community's appearance (it sort of looks like a project or a low income property) also the gates are constantly broken so it’s easy access. Most certainly wouldn’t recommend this place to any of my friends or family. This is the second weekend we haven’t had any hot water in building G. The last time we had no hot water there was absolutely no communication from the office. I’m suspecting this is done intentionally to control the water usage! I honestly can’t wait until this lease is over. The property is poorly maintained, the quality of life for people living here is terribly low. The management team doesn’t care and the tenants clearly don’t either because the trash throughout the property is unacceptable. I should have taken heed to the comments prior to moving in, but I wanted to make my own judgement call. Welp the results are in and YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Save yourself the stress, spend a bit more to live in a better managed environment. However if your looking to save money for a greater cause and willing to compromise things such as efficiency from staff, care and attention to the community, sanitary conditions, not dealing with roaches, poor upkeep of common areas and broken washers for months, utility bills exceeding $300……. Then this is the place for you!"

"8/14/23. I am adding to my below post from 4 days ago. We are waiting for a drip tray for my air conditioner. Since the air conditioning unit is so old, it has to be specially ordered and is supposed to be here on Friday. This wouldn't have caused an issue if the maintenance would have come over four weeks ago when I first put in my maintenance request. Instead, they just kept closing the requests that I put in for help with this. They didn't even come for over two weeks. Then when they finally did come, all they did was clean it and say it should be good now. They came out and cleaned it three different times and did nothing else. I showed them videos of how the leak was getting worse and told them that it had to be a rush, since the ceiling was going to eventually come down. I have posted some additional pictures of what the ceiling looks like now, only four days later. That is what I woke up to this morning. We can't even use our kitchen until this is fixed. I have lost money, time, and sleep for weeks on account of this. I would change this to zero stars if I could. (Please see my original post below). 8/11/23. My air conditioner has been leaking. I have put in numerous requests over the last three and a half weeks. Every time I put in the maintenance request, I receive an email saying that is is completed even though it has not been fixed. Now we are apparently waiting on the drip tray. It has supposedly been ordered. I keep telling them that the leaking is getting worse and that it should be fixed immediately. I have added the below pictures to show how bad this is. I don't really have any words to explain how frustrating the maintenance is here at Park at Voss."
