"Good menu variety. I had the crepes - they were a little thick but still good. We also had a skillet - the potatoes were perfectly crispy, pretty good as well. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean. I would recommend stopping in!"

"Excellent cafe right in beautiful downtown Shabbona staff is extremely friendly the decor is wonderful and the food is delicious there is a huge variety of options for breakfast and lunch type foods comes out fast and hot good amount of parking available on street and in nearby lots. This is a great place highly recommended if you are in the area"

"First time here, and we had dinner. The fried mushrooms were pretty decent. The batter was a little lighter as far as fried mushrooms go, which I liked. I also got the macho burger, with an extra patty. Unfortunately, the patties didn't have much flavor, and the jalapenos didn't have any heat to them. Overall quite underwhelming. Service was excellent. Very friendly and prompt. I'll go back for the breakfast, as it looks amazing, and update my review from there."

"Biggest best omelet I've ever had. Fabulous spicy oily American fries. I was surprised at the size of the cafe and impressed by the two U-shaped sit-at counters. Excellent friendly service (few customers at the time). One photo is the alignment of wind turbines with the main street of Shabbona. Shabbona also is a train watchers haven. The is a nice state park nearby as well. Bring a small boat or fishing pole."

"Not a coffee drinker but loved their cappachino. It was just perfect. Super soft pancakes and swedish cakes. Our host was also very nice, she was able to make a delicious veg sandwich for us even though it was not in their menu. Worth stopping by. Definitely coming back."
