"This is an apartment complex for adults ages 55 and over. The Wedgewood Apartments actually suffered a fire on the 11th floor which Castle Heights Fire Department, at the time, didn't have a ladder truck that went high enough to fight the fire. The Wedgewood Apartments are no more and will now be Ensemble Apartments which is scheduled to open in December 2019."

"THIS IS NOT A SENIOR FACILITY! IT IS AN APARTMENT! DON'T MOVE YOUR SENIOR HERE! An elderly friend of mine who lived at Waterford of Thousand Oaks was pursued by a salesperson at Wedgewood. He had already lost much of his mental acumen and was not capable of making a good decision. He was talked into living here, though it was quite obvious that he should not have made this decision on his own. There was no regard for what was best for him. In the two months that he lived at Wedgewood, his health went downhill. He was no longer eating regular meals and was alone. It was no place for someone in his position. He passed away yesterday. The salesperson had no regard for his well being and I will forever believe that this move hastened his death. He was doing well at Waterford. Don't allow a senior who should be in an independent or assisted living facility to move here."
