"Just moved in! This place is AMAZING! I can not say enough great things about the friendly and professional staff who really seem to care about the residents in general. I was lucky enough (I'm saying "blessed") to get a premiere unit overlooking the resort-like pool area and quite honestly I signed a 14 month lease but I think I will live here FOREVER! :) Had a few maintenance issues just after move in and they were taken care of IMMEDIATELY! Did I mention DAILY trash removal right outside of your door?! Bexley Grapevine is a first class operation and I commend each staff member who are dedicated to their jobs here! Thank you for making a difference!"
"My husband and I stayed at Bexley Grapevine for 4 months and didn't have any big issues with the apartment complex until we wanted to move out. I leave this review to warn everyone of unexpected move-out fees/charges. In June of this year, we had a consistent issue with insects coming to the apartment in large number and non-stop. A pest control technician came and identified a big gap between our bedroom wall and floor, making ways for insect intrusion. The maintenance crew then came, dug out a hole in our bedroom and brought commercial fans to dry the wall. The process was annoying due to loud noise from the fan but I totally understood and it wasn't their fault. The maintenance crew, however, never finished the process and left a hole in our bedroom. Shortly after that, we bought a house and submitted a move-out request. From that point, the management stopped responding to our maintenance requests. They reassured us that they would fix the hole after we moved out and wouldn't charge us for that the issue. Because it wasn't our fault!! We started taking pictures and documenting all the communication related to the issue just to make sure. Oh well, they ended up charging us $314 for carpet damage without any explanation. I emailed and called their accounting department (who sent us the move out invoice). They didn't answer the phone or answer my email. I then called Bexley Grapevine and couldn't get a hold on anyone either. I waited a week to see if there was any response but no, Bexley remained silent. Luckily I still stayed in the area and was able to go there in person to ask about the wrong charge. The first answer from the Bexley Grapevine was that I should contact their accounting/collection department. How could I even contact them if they didn't answer my phone or email??? They went on to tell me that they normally charge for carpet damage prorated to the time I stayed there. They only softened the tone when there were some prospective tenants touring the place. After multiple back and forth, the wrong charge was removed. I can't imagine what would happen if I didn't document everything and wasn't able to go there in person if they remained silent like that. That's why I leave this review - to warn everyone. Be prepared and document every communication with the management because you will need it when they try to nickle and dime you at move-out!"
"Lived here for 15 months and loved it! Great community and by far the nicest apartment we've lived in. Sometimes the grounds aren't perfectly maintained but nothing worth a bad review. The pool and amenities can't be beat. Would have happily stayed longer had we not purchased a home."
"Very nice new apartments and townhomes with an absolutely spectacular pool, upscale finishes, modern conveniences like Nest thermostats and keyless entry front door. Staff is exceptional and attentive. Price point seemed a bit high, but still reasonable and they run specials every month."
