"Please dont rent from here. The office manager Martha has a very bad attitude. shes very unprofessional, shes prejudice and shes very disrespectful towards kids. All summer the air conditioner hasnt worked. Maintenance do half jobs on repairs. They also take their time with doing repairs. It was a great place until Martha start working here Cavender Manor has gone down hill ever since she start worked here. Whoever owns this Property get Martha out of the office. Shes running the tenants away with the bad attitude she has all the time. She doent know how to talk to the tenants. I vote Martha out of here!!! Not even worth 3 stars"

"Management is horrid. Half the buildings are infested roaches living like its "Joes Apartment". They cant keep the a/c working to save their life but expect every single penny of rent due immediately. Some a/c units will start leaking in the hallway and then POUR into your home. There are no pipes under older building. At all. Its concrete and rocks."

"Should have saw the red flags when we first moved in. Children left unattended all day (they go through the trash constantly), neighbors always fighting at 3am, gunshots from the houses down the street weekly, and trash everywhere- including pill bottles and beer cans. The maintenance crew tried to help with issues but it rarely went resolved. We did have issues with maintenance walking into our apartment unannounced on many occasions while I was home alone. Many times they entered while I was showering without calling ahead to make sure they could enter. During the snow storm in February, our apartment had a burst pipe which left a hole in our kitchen, as well as half the apartment flooded because maintenance left our sink running while we were taking shelter elsewhere. A lot of my personal property was damaged and nothing came of it. We left the apartment spotless (cleaning their mess from the storm) and still never got our deposit back."

"I have been here almost a year and things keep getting better! Any problems that we have had in our apartment are fixed in a timely manner. They have also been working on remodeling and when we move to a bigger apartment I can't wait to see the new additions! The pest control is the best I have seen in apartments. They come rather often to keep us bug free. The office staff and the maintenance are very kind and get you taken care of as well."

"I have been here for almost a year and the owners are actively working to make this a great place to live.They are refurbishing the apartments inside and out. There is a new manager here who is very pleasant and tries to help any way she can. The exterminator has sprayed every other month which keeps bugs in my apartment under control. I have seen bugs no matter where I have lived. Its just some complexes are very pro-active about controlling them."
