"EDITED** I’ve been renting at this property for over a year and I’m fed up with maintenance men coming into my unit without scheduling a time with me as I notate in my work orders. As a single mother living alone with a kid it’s unsettling that the maintenance men feel they can disregard my request of being present when they enter my apartment. The leasing agent Rachel was dismissive when I addressed my concern and stated since I rent at this location they are able to enter my property whenever they need too. I told her I understand but as a renter I have the right to be present when they do. She kept giving excuses as to why they don’t have to inform when they enter. I’ve had property stolen out of my apartment and the fact that I am now feeling uncomfortable in the unit I rent is becoming more and more unsettling. If this continues I will seek assistance from the city and BBB about how to go about this intrusion of privacy. A single mother living alone. I am starting to feel violated. Edited 09/26/2023 Since the new owners of the property have taken over, the new leasing agent Karen Heidi has surpassed the other leasing agents this property has had before. She came in and we spoke about my concerns and issues with my unit. She has single handedly fixed many of the issues I’ve had with my place since moving in. I haven’t experienced service as such in the 2 years I have been here. She has helped me regain my confidence with property management and getting work orders fixed in a timely manner. Well done."
"I’m only giving one star because i love the apartment and the area it’s self. The management sucks they have turned hands more times than i can count the crazy part is this last time there was no manager on the 1st of the month but expect you to pay them but how can i pay you if i can’t get a receipt from payment with this place you have to keep all you receipts because they cannot keep up with your money order once before they took my money order and tried to file eviction on me then told me that they found it a week after i took the receipt up there with the lady’s signature on it. Only thing i can say is the apartment complex is nice just wish they where professional"
"I'm not originally from Texas so I never knew that there were places that control your heat and air and still charge electricity based off of what they think you used. I went 3 months with out a working toilet and I've gotten use to the fact I'll probably never know what hot water feels like ever again . Basically if you want a quiet place to stay this is it. If you want that and hot water, working toilet, operatable stove, lights in every room, closet doors that actually open AND close do not rent here!! BTW its spring and I still have no air or hot water"
"A/C has been out for 2 weeks. The "office staff" will not answer the phone, and no one is EVER in the office. The laundry facility never works. The ad on apartment finder is full of lies. No pool. No bbq area. Definitely no hardwood floors. The playground is the public park behind them. You pay monthly for "pest control". They've only been in my unit maybe twice since November. My a/c filter i had to take it out side and sweep it off because it hasn't been changed even semi-regular. I pay on time every month nearly $1000, on time, cause no problems, to live in misery. Counting down til my lease is over."
"Moved in August 2016. Deposit and fees listed are not what they charge you. Had 5 managers in 5 months. Advertised and in lease central ac snd heat. It is not central ac or heat or water. They have swamp cooler (constantly broken and leaking) that never cooled apartment below 85. They shut down the system in October and left us with no ac. Water is a boiler. All this is running 36 units. Constantly down and ordering parts and would not notify tenants that it was down. I showered more at the gym than my apartment. My newly remodeled bathroom was torn apart my first week I lived there. It constantly leaked into my neighbor below my unit. Had leaks from the swamp system in my hallway and holes in the ceiling that were never fixed. All the pictures shown are old pictures and none of the landscaping or community areas exist anymore. Play area shown is atvthe school and park. Driveways have huge potholes and dumpter is always full and trash just stacked around it and is out in the lot. Not in tbe designated walled area. Tenants hangout under the stairs drinking and smoking by the lower laundry rooms loud and rude at midnight. Some nice people, I had 3 tenants in the unit next to me that were evicted. Managers are never on site and don't return calls unless you call them 20 times. Portal is always down. I never had a fridge in my unit so I had went and bought one after a week. Dishwasher broken and they replaced it with a dented and horrible new one. They charge 50 lease violations every chance they get and the lights outside are broken and very dark. Junk trailers and guys working on cars for pay in the back parking lot which is against policy but ok for certain guys. Kids run around the upper level outside your doors. Make sure you get everything in writing and take photos if you move in. There is no bbq or nice court yard. Laundry rooms are gross and dirty with only 4 washers and dryers. Trash everywhere due to no trash cans anywhere. Entered my apartment while I was in the shower on 2 occasions without notice or reason. Put Plexiglas in my broken windows instead of glass. Just wasted alot of money eyes to move in in over 1500 deposits. I do have proof of all my statements made and alot of photos. Utility bill is not itemized nor will they give you one. Just a lump sum they want paid in 10 days or it shows late on your rent. Allied Property management in my opinion is a huge scam on the deposits and the eviction and move outs. Was always people moving every week in and out. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!! Ronald Larson"
