"The office the staff is very nice and professional. Elizabeth was very helpful in answering all my questions"
"Mold everywhere don’t take care of anything got to fix my own stuff and just so nasty here"
"Been here 2yrs about to sign on a third. The location is great. Central to gas, shopping, and in walking distance to a few. From Hannah the first me woman show in the office to the maintenance guys. The Team at oaks sticks together. I’ve not had one issue. That I couldn’t come to Hannah about and her guys were in most cases next day out to fix anything I needed. During renewal everyone works with you to make sure your apartment is still lovable. Liveable that’s up to each us individuals. If your looking for a competitive tent pmt and find it worth it to pay a little more for great service which is hard to find. This is the place I would suggest."
"Upon move in, I should have been told of all additional fees... including a 6.50 extra to pay rent online, therefore a person who would put back normally for rent, made it very difficult and unnecessary fees... Water bill for one person ran extremely high several months of my lease, like 80$. I had to get a filter to change it out, they said they did that regularly, hmmm... And roaches live there, I wasn't the only tenant to complain, but hey the day I moved out they came in without notice and sprayed. Sinks stayed backed up and raw dried sewage constantly coming from the clean out... And that smelled. Never could you find someone in the office, up until the end, they finally got Claudia some help, I'm sure current tenants will be happy because that was probably the most annoying when you needed them and no one's there, not answers the phone. Oh and I had mentioned to them I had baby squirrels in the ceiling where the crawl space would be, last year I heard them and again they came back this year.... 2.5 starts only because they are trying to improve it seems... Watch that rent, after 12 months it goes crazy high!!!!!"
"Sept 2018 update: management has changed. I have a leak that hasn't been fixed in several months, caused mold and the child with asthma go be in ER three times last month. Water is constantly off due to leaks. No hot water or water pressure. Police are at the apartments two or three times a week. K9 unit was there last week due to an armed robbery, cars get broken into and sugar put into people's tank. I have thought about breaking my lease January 1, 2019 update: My hot water has been off for seven days It's not even Lukewarm. It's 36 outside so I can't take a cold shower. I've had to drive to my mother's to shower myself and my child. Claudia the manager is aware and has been, but sent out no notice or has any idea when it will be fixed. When I called yesterday to ask for an update she said "yeah I know but I'm on vacation and I'll be back on the 2nd" that's funny because haltom city code compliance stated not having hot water is an "emergency" because hot water is a basic amenity that makes the apartment liveable. They said apartments have 24 hours to remedy the situation. I did not have hot water for Christmas or New year's. There has been two or three times the last few months that raw sewage was bubbling up from the ground. My dishwasher was finally fixed only took nine months (she kept promising it would be fixed next week". The mold is so bad it's rotting the floor and the wall. Claudia the manager is NEVER in the office and calling to get through is usually impossible. The office phone routes to her cell phone so calling after hours is impossible. Trash is always full, kids run around tearing things up. Pest control never comes. Ppl blaring music at all hours, several car break in's and smashed car windows, probably because all the parking lot lights are broke. Claudia requires you to get new parking pass every month when you pay rent, so if you pay rent a few days late, your car gets towed, this is her trying to show her power, several ppl park off property and walk home two or three blocks. The drop box was drilled shut so even if you have the rent, you have to hope you can find a time when she is in the office, usually one or two days a week and random hours. I've actually had to give my rent money to the maintenance men and "hope" they handle it. These apartments are trash and hopefully will be condemned soon or forced to provide a safe living condition. Please move to heritage across the street or appian way."
