"H.B. No. 302 AN ACT relating to the carrying, storage, or possession of a firearm or firearm ammunition by certain persons on certain residential or commercial property. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: The TLDR version - H.B. 302 provides that tenants of a residential unit (apartment, condominium, and manufactured housing) have the right to lawfully possess firearms and ammunition in those locations, and to transport them directly en route between their residential units and their vehicles. Also, in Texas, the use of deadly force to protect your property is permitted in certain situations. For example, to legally use deadly force, you must have a reasonable belief that the trespasser is attempting to commit arson, BURGLARY, robbery, theft (during nighttime hours), or criminal mischief. You must also reasonably believe that the use of non-lethal force would not be effective or that it would subject you to “substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury.” Given the pattern of break ins.... ya'll wrong for evicting her."
"Don’t rent here they evicted a single mother of 4 for lawfully using her firearm after someone tried to break into her 9 year old daughters bedroom MULTIPLE TIMES and stated she “disturbed the peace” they do not care about the safety of you or your family you’re better off living in a crack house with no doors or windows at least they won’t kick you out for defending yourself and your loved ones."
"Shame on yall for what you did to that woman protecting her family !!"
"If you're a legal firearm holder, thats protect your family by having the intruder neutralized in your home, then be prepared to be evicted for "disturbing the peace" pathetic. 2nd amendment right"
"doesn’t care about their tenants :/"
