Homewood Suites by Hilton Ft. Worth - North at Fossil Creek

"The rooms are nice, walls are thin. Unfortunately, I sold have give another STAR, but the water pump had gone out, so no hot water. Grandkids froze, My wife, daughter, and I couldn't take even a Luke warm shower, I had to boil water to shave with. Normally, it really wouldn't have been that great if an issue, but from desk kept saying a couple of hours, let the water run... well, we did, the next day, no change, and we were here for my Geandfathers funeral... at least it was freaking 80°, in February... gotta love TEXAS weather!"

"This place is very outdated and furniture is stained and worn. We asked to be changed rooms due to the smell and condition of the furniture. Sofa cushions torn and stained, bad smell in the room, phones did not work. That’s just the first room. The one we were moved to sofa was stained, both the toilet and shower head were leaking. Hot breakfast and coffee was served and descent enough to eat only positive of the hotel."

"We found roaches crawling into our food in the morning. The towel hangers fell off since the screws were stripped. AC was loud but worst, the vents were full of dust. The room and sheets felt clean and staff was very nice. I understand they can only work with what they have if mgmt or investor not willing to pay to fix or upgrade. This used to be our go to spot when visiting family for the last 8 yrs but we will be going somewhere else now. It’s not a $100 per night place more like $70"

"Rooms were outdated and just gave an old motel vibe. The pull out couch was not comfortable at all. It's in a terrible location as far as homelessness goes. We went to the Texas Roadhouse on the corner and had 3 people pander us for $$ as we were exiting our vehicle and the restaurant. If you have kids, there are better areas to stay in the DFW area, and we won't ever book again. Also, people who were staying at the hotel had dogs off the leash, and no one said anything about it. Every where you looked, there were people posted up on the street just hanging out at all hours."

"As you navigate through the parking lot, you'll have to watch out for the potholes. The hotel has two elevators at the front, but we noticed that one of them was occasionally out of order during our stay. Garbage bags and linen were left in the hallway overnight. When we got to our room, we found that the dishes in the dishwasher were still dirty, the backing to the remotes were missing, and some of the dishes were either broken or in poor condition. The room could use a makeover as there was stripped paint on the walls and chips on the doors. The restrooms for the two-room suite do not have a fan, which makes it uncomfortable as the bedroom is directly connected. Additionally, the couch bed is highly uncomfortable and offers no support. The fitness center is tiny, with only four machines: two treadmills, an elliptical, and a Peloton. One of the treadmill displays doesn't work, and the remote to the TV in the fitness room is also broken. However, the staff was exceptional. From the housekeeping to the kitchen staff, everyone was friendly, polite, and helpful. Although the staff was great, based on the condition of the hotel, I recommend looking into other places to stay for the money you pay. It could be a more comfortable stay elsewhere."
