"Absolutely gorgeous venue for a great price. Really takes minimal decor to bring it to life and personalize it. We loved that we were able to have our dog in our wedding and our wedding party stay at the venue with us. Can’t recommend this place enough! It ended up being super cold for our wedding (Dec. 22) but everyone enjoyed hanging out inside and even some outside with heaters."
"Beautiful location, enough space for everyone involved in wedding to stay, location is in the city but isolated. It's truly a beautiful venue. We had an intimate, moody night wedding and it was perfect. Furthermore, the individuals working and running the house were really nice people which just added to the charm."
"House on the Hill was only the second venue we looked at and we immediately booked it. We had the venue from 4pm on Friday to 12pm on Sunday, which allowed us to have the rehearsal, welcome party, reception, and farewell breakfast all in one place, as well as have our entire wedding party stay on site with us the whole weekend. It was so nice to not have to leave the venue at all! Our guests and family raved about the venue all weekend and loved the view of the hills during cocktail hour. We had about 100 guests with an outdoor ceremony, indoor cocktail hour, and outdoor reception. This was the perfect size for this venue. Communication with the venue was amazing and I would highly recommend. The website is a little outdated, so definitely go tour in person. The natural beauty of the property speaks for itself and I think very little decor is needed!"
"We got married in July 2021 at HOTH. We greatly enjoyed all it had to offer and the value that we got with it! It was so beautiful and we can't emphasize how clutch all of the extra rooms on site were. We had our bridal party stay in the other houses on site as a thank-you for being part of the big day and had a pool party at the HOTH pool after the wedding. A lot of it is DIY (hence the cost savings) but the site director was very helpful throughout the planning process and allowed us to come visit the site several times before the event so we could plan it all out. We were very pleased with House on the Hill but WON'T be getting married there again! ;)"
"My daughter and I visited four possible venues for my wedding and House on the Hill was the first place we went. The minute I got out of my car I knew it was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a place that felt casual but was still beautiful and had that hill country vibe. The accommodations were perfect as well because my husband had family coming from out of town. The whole weekend was just perfect and being able to stay at the venue allowed for us to have some downtime with our family and close friends in between all the fesitivities. Amanda was so helpful with all my questions (and I had a lot because I was doing this without a coordinator!) and she was very easy to get a hold of. It was also nice being able to visit the venue a few times leading up to the wedding. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived on Friday and I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to have the entire property to ourselves for the weekend. It lent that intimate feel that we were looking for: family walking around with coffee in the morning, kids playing in the grass, and quiet moments before the ceremony. Love love love this place!
