"While the staff and service were excellent, the prices are getting a bit out of hand. 3 of us to get a main dish, iced teas, and a beer was almost $100. With the added gratuity on the bill it feels a little scummy from a corporate perspective. I hope the staff sees that money."
"LOVE ME SOME ALAMO! BEST Trailers and preview content. Great food and drinks. Best movie popcorn with real butter and the most amazing churro popcorn. YOU'LL THANK ME LATER. Great Thai chili wings and fried pickle spears . New frequent members plan is a decently good deal. Except you have to pay fees to book where other loyalty plans don't charge you to use your plan. My only other issue is that the lighting under tables to see menus is so low Hard for older eyes over 40."
"It's a cool place to catch a movie and eat dinner. Food is just above average for a restaurant. We had the fried pickles, and Pizzas. My opinion, the pizza was fine, as we're the pickles. Had better but had worse."
"This is a great theatre! There's adequate parking for the number of customers in the 8 theaters. The seats are very comfortable. The temperature is perfect--no sub zero temps inside. The staff up front have been friendly. One helped me solve a movie pass problem I had. The servers in the theatres have done really good jobs. They move quickly to take care of customers and not interrupt the movies. The popcorn is very good here, and I'm a huge fan of the boozy milkshakes. Fried pickles just came back, and they taste as good as they used to. I appreciate that Alamo takes pre-payment method for food and drink. This has made the end of movies very calm. A highlight of every movie for me is to see who or what is going to tell me to behave in the theatre and, if I don't, what the punishment will be. Godzilla and Michelle Yeoh are my favorites as of this writing."
"We had our first movie experience at the Alamo Drafthouse this afternoon! Even at noon on a Tuesday, our theatre was completely full, so be sure to buy tickets in advance, especially if you want good seats! Although expensive, the food does taste pretty good! We got a pepperoni pizza and a chicken sandwich, and it was more than enough food for 3 of us to share. The fries that came with the sandwich were cold, though. One thing I would change is that the table is a bit too far from the seat. You have to sit on the edge of your seat, plus hunch over, in order to eat over your plate. Also, be sure to read carefully what type of showing you're going to. We chose family friendly, and that allows people to talk and walk around during the movie. We probably won't choose that next time! People were pretty loud at times."
