"I don’t think anyone should live here, the staff is not kind at all. They are charging me 102.84 to repaint 1 room! Paint doesn’t even cost 20$ at the store. They’re charging me 90$ for “cleaning” I literally cleaned before I left! I find that strange because when I moved in it was NOT clean at all!!! I shampooed the carpets and the water was BLACK, there was dog hair all under the couch from the person who previously lived there, so I doubt they’re actually using this money to clean! They’re scamming people and stealing their money after they move out. They said the cleaning charges are for “pet stain removal” when I literally bought a black light to check the carpet, & they charged me 200$ pet deposit when I moved it? So please tell me where that 200 went that I have to pay extra now. Another complaint I have is they they do not need your permission to enter your apartment, the men from maintenance or anyone really can just come in and they won’t even give you a day in advance to let you know. As a girl who was living there alone, that’s scary!!! It’s unprofessional, I’ve never lived in an apartment where they do that, they usually ask you if it’s okay if you’re not home to enter. Nope not here. Wyatt is a jerk, so if you need to speak to him about anything GOOD LUCK. He will talk to you like he’s better than you and your complaints are ridiculous. It’s sad. They do not care about you or what’s best for the residents who stay here. They’re going to ruin my credit if I don’t pay the total of 285$ in “damages”. They did provide photos of literally NOTHING, no sign of damage in any photo."

"DO NOT LIVE IN HERE. If you want to get robbed, then choose the Grove. They charged me 726.88$ for “DAMAGE” while leaving the place. The also sent me images that they were calling "DAMAGE". I got the pictures and everything. I’m not afraid to confront the Grove authority at all. I cleaned every single thing from my bedroom's bed, carpet, bathroom, closet, everything. Even the narrow lining of the walls, I mean everything. I spent 3 days vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning the carpet with the carpet cleaner, and I can proudly and boldly say that you can not even find a single strand of foreign anything in my bedroom. Alas !!! they’re calling it as a “Damage” . Also charged me for things that were not mine at all !!!!!!! My roommates were were not there when I left. They also charged me and dumped their belongings in kitchen, calling those as a Trash !!!!!! What a joke !!!!! Once a tenant moves away from a place, it's the owner's responsibility to get it ready for the next renter. As an old tenant, I did my very best to make it clean and ready for the next level of cleaning. I did my part but they did not. I called couple of times to talk in person with the manager but couldn’t reach her. I sent 3 emails, calimed a dispute and they gave the same generic reply and didn’t even bother changing the billing statement date for the updated file,and didn’t even discounted a penny. Not a single penny. Such a shame !!! Long story short, I am just digusted, appalled at their behavior. If you want to get robbed and treated miserably once you leave the place, The Grove is the right place for you. I’m pretty sure they’ll still give the same response for this google review."

"DO NOT LIVE HERE!! I would rate this place lower if I could. Lived here for two years and I’m not sure where to even begin with the level of incompetence the managing staff shows. They do not care about you! I just moved out on July 31st of this year and after scrubbing the entire apartment they still charged me over $800 for various invalid charges such as couch, mattress, and bed frame replacement fees when I opted to furnish my apartment from the start. They charged for damages to the drywall and stains in the carpet that were already there upon my move in. On top of that, they rarely fill your work orders, brush you off, and will not take any responsibility. To finish things off, they also do not care about your safety here. Just last year, there was a shooting where several bullets hit one of their apartment buildings. It took them months to “fix” the gate and get it running afterwards in their sorry attempt to help make the complex safer. They will squeeze you for every last dime they can. I also experienced frequent internet outages from my time here as well. Do not live here, you will be sorry. I hope this place fails to the worst possible extent and the managing staff is held responsible."

"My experience at this apartment complex was a complete nightmare. The management was unprofessional, the maintenance team was incompetent, and the promised amenities were a joke. But the worst part? After move-out, they will do everything they can to charge you over $300 in absurd fees. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. The management is indifferent to your needs, the maintenance is a disaster, and the amenities are subpar. And if you think you can escape the nightmare by leaving, think again. They'll try to squeeze every last penny out of you with unjustifiable fees. Don't fall into their trap. Find a better place to call home."
