My experience: Being an extreme sports enthusiast myself, I’ve struggled with back/neck/shoulder pain for years, all related to past injuries from the sports I take part in. After seeing a physical therapist and other chiropractors roughy 5-7 years ago, I gave up as I realized the PT wasn’t working for my shoulder, and my back/shoulder pain just wasn’t really getting the attention to detail that I feel my situation needed in order to diagnose what is really going on. "Simply put, Dr. Brustein is as good as it gets. He was the only chiropractor my wife trusted, and now I feel the same. I recently went to a highly acclaimed orthopedic doctor who diagnosed me with stenosis and concluded surgery was my only option. My injuries stemed from my time in the Marines, and at the age of 51, I believed the diagnosis was plausable. Thankfully, my wife suggested 1 last option. Within 1 visit, Dr. Lanny was able to conclude why the nerve damage was occurring and even pointed out areas of atrophy that were related. He was honest and up front that treatment might not be totally successful depending on how long the nerve had been affected.
