"Was told over the phone by operator I could walk-in to clinic. And my husband was able to do so last year when he was sick. So when I tried to do so they immediately said no to any walk-ins stating they did not do that. Very rude people and it looks like the BSW operator and location do not communicate properly. Do not go to this location they are not helpful at all. Other clinics have always been super helpful but not the Hutto clinic."
"Awesome Baylor Scott White location in Hutto. Staff is very friendly and caring."
"05/18/2022 I waited for her to return from vacation and scheduled an appointment for a medical accommodation form for University. She was very combative, argumentive and dismissive. She wouldn't even look at me unless it was to argue. It was as if she didn't understand the assignment, she called me a lier, told me I didn't have surgery, and argued about my records because I told her that I dropped two physicians that I was seeing through bsw because they weren't very good and looking for new providers. She then proceeded to yell at me and I keep apologizing and it did no good after that point I had gotten up and told her I apologized for that were having a communication problem and left. She even was threatening to refuse to sign my documents, not sure why she was very mad for some reason. The PCP is supposed to be the quarterback so I'm not sure why she acted out. I told her my hands were turning blue and she wouldn't even look at me. After leaving I had a melt down in front of the office because I am a autistic person and all I wanted to was finish school I didn't understand why she was being so mean. After reviewing my records and being told they didn't have them I noticed she refers me to as a her and put as of my words that I wanted testing because I was homosexual which is not the case. I am queer but testing was being done because I have many chronic conditions and couldn't take the medication I was having reactions to a class of drugs so that I could accurately manage my pain. in 2018 i had a nasty herina surgery, many rounds of nerve blocks and a DRG trial. After all said is done this occurred in front of the administration and he wrote a report and took notes, even outside the building he had to put his hand up so she would quit talking. I also had a fall on my recent 12 hr 3 part biopsy leg and ems show up after telling her about my blue hands. She has even retaliated by altering my medical records saying I didn't submit to testing or screening which isn't true they don't expire until the end of this year and circled and highlighted odd stuff on my accommodation form, which doesn't make sense after speaking to the University they confirmed that it was just an option and didn't understand her response, found out later she was a one year and she also went off about diagnosing breast cancer 2 days ago in a lady I'm not sure what that had to do with me, was definitely retaliation. She even lied about prescribing medication to me Ketoalorac if she doesn't know how medication works or what she prescribes she shouldn't be seeing patients this soon. I have my medical records before and after the changes. Dont use Myra Ahmed I'm not sure if she is bisis or just a 1year. Dont make my mistake read reviews don't just choose a PCP because your ins says Yeah their great!"
"Had a new patient appointment here on Dec 14. Everything went great, I was able to talk to the doctor for more than a couple minutes (which is almost unheard-of), the staff was great, facility was okay, definitely not the nicest I've been to and pretty small. I scheduled a follow up appt for Jan 11 (today, Tuesday) at my appointment. I got a bill 2 weeks ago saying I owed $25 after insurance. I have pretty good insurance, and planned to pay it at my follow up appointment. I get a call the Friday before my appointment that the doctor won't be in the building the day of my appointment and they can't get me rescheduled because of my work hours, but I can do a virtual appointment. So I agreed. I got an email today with the link on how to do a virtual appointment. While I'm clicking around my chart I notice I owe the $25, plus another $131 for hospital charges. Never received a bill for this and they are both for the same day. I'm confused as to why I have to separate charges for the same appointment. Called them and they stated they charge for the doctor ($25 charge) and then charge for the facility ($131 charge). Canceled my virtual appointment and will be finding a new doctor. To me that is shady."
"The staff was friendly and I was seen by the doctor really quickly. Dr. Ortiz was an open book in regard to my questions, and facilitated an open atmosphere making it easy to share my questions, and concerns. Having a lab within the building was an added benefit, as I was able to seem my doctor for an annual check up, and get all of my bloodwork/vaccinations completed within the hour. Cant recommend this facility enough"
