"Wish I had gone to UT Southwestern. The nursing staff could care less. You are just a number. I found out after it was too late that there was so much more available for my mom. Several times I pointed out errors that changed the treatment. What do those do that aren't in the field?"
"The Nurses who perform the treatments blew three veins, didn’t know how to operate the blood pressure machine and were rude. I hated going in for treatment due to the way they treated you and lack of any sympathy. They even called and gave me the wrong time for my appointment. Luckily I didn’t listen or I would of missed my appointment."
"I noticed that all the reviews are old and, due to apparent "corporate shakeup", none of the doctors reviewed are even there anymore. So here's a current one. I have been going to Choice for over a year for my treatments. The front office staff is very nice and attentive. Appointments run on time - or at least within 15 minutes. The nurses are all very personable and seem to enjoy their jobs. I was assigned Dr. Raetasha Dabney (after previous doctor was let go) and love her. I appreciate that she listens to me and responds in a way that I understand (I felt previous doctor was condescending), has even taken my case to a peer panel to discuss as it was a fairly rare cancer, and she isn't afraid to show her personality. She is also from a military background, so the office now seems to run a much better "tight ship" than previously. The comments on other reviews about wait times were true. My appointments with labs, office visit, and treatment should only be about 1.5 hours, however with previous management could be up to 4 hours for no reason other than the doctor had no respect for appointment times I guess. So, if you're looking for a convenient, effective, and efficient oncology office, I do recommend Choice."
"I like dr. Drinkard but today was a joke! Waited an hour and a half just to be told by valerie there is no telling how long I needed to wait further! Then she became very RUDE stating I'm taking care of sick people(why the hell does she think I'm here for the ambiance)! Really if your job is stressing you out maybe seek a new career. I understand things happen but maybe a smile with empathy can ease the wait!"
"Everyone that works here are compassionate and careing. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma stage 2B in October, 2015. I had 12 infusions of AVBD chemo starting on Dec 6, 2015 and my last treatment was May 6, 2016. Dr. Drinkard made sure I understood how the process would work and what sode effects to expect. The oncology nurses did everything they could to keep me comfortable and at ease during my infusions. I'm hopeful to never need chemo again but am comforted knowing there is such a caring and skilled team close to my home. I have recommend this clinic to others that need oncology consultation."
