He was efficient, professional, helpful, patient and kind. Cara assisted in the selection and ordering of eyeglasses. She was also patient and professional. Overall excellent experience."

"I had a great experience getting my annual checkup here! Everyone on the staff that I encountered was very friendly, and the whole experience was quick and efficient without feeling rushed. Dr. Spencer was thorough in his exam and the rest of the staff was eager to answer any questions I had. I greatly appreciated that they took the time to go over my insurance and what the costs would be, unlike some other locations. Would recommend!"

"Although this facility is very nice. It is not well organized or informative. I was charged for a retinal scan and wasn’t even asked if I wanted it before hand. On top of being charged for something i was not aware of, the check out was not friendly and very dismissive about my concerns. I felt like I was being pushed out the door by all employee members. The visit was not good at all."

"First, let me say my experience with Ginter Eyecare has always been exceptional. I have seen Dr. Vaughn for several years and find him to be very professional and knowledgeable. However, my daughter recently had an eye issue and went in and saw the first available doctor, Dr. Spencer. She had developed a blurry or blind spot in one eye. He performed several tests and didn't find any abnormalities that he mentioned to her. Instead, after several scans and tests, he said they needed to refer her to a neurologist. He said there might be underlying medical issues including a BRAIN TUMOR or possibly MS! My daughter was already stressed about the eye issue; and, thanks to Dr. Spencer, her anxiety went through the roof. She was not able to quit worrying and had to go to our personal doctor to get a prescription for her anxiety. He didn't support the idea of either possibility mentioned by Dr. Spencer and said a more probable answer was the stress. In order to alleviate her stress further, we went to another eye doctor. He also ran scans and tests confirming her eye was completely normal. He reassured her there was no reason to consider a more serious condition at this time, assuring her nothing indicated a tumor. He also felt like relieving the stress would be a best first step. The inappropriate comments made by Dr. Spencer have made our lives extremely difficult for a week. His credentials do not give him the right to even mention those possibilities. Instead he should have stated he didn't see any issue with her eye and refer her to her primary care doctor."

"Very accommodating to this mama bringing herself and 3 kids in for exams. We were able to schedule appointments to be at the same time just by calling the day before. The entire staff was phenomenal with my family, and the doctors were very thorough in their evaluations. This establishment was not in any way snobby, compared to other "fancy" eye clinics in Lubbock who couldn't be bothered with having only 1 parent with 3 kids. Thank you for having an excellent clinic serving the Lubbock community."
