"My daughter went in with basic dental bonding removal at noon yesterday. The dentist whom I do not know his name, because he did not introduce himself and asked me for advice on his area of expertise. We then agreed to the the removal of the bonding and then several cavities, which was also not explained. I assumed it was one. Then she went back in at 3pm for the bonding removal. My daughter's experience was HORRIFIC. We had to switch dental providers as she had seen Dr. Kennel over at Lubbock Kids Dental for the past 16 years, NEVER had my kiddo(s) left in tears for major work, and this was over "bonding removal". She would tell me this agonizing experience and the Doctor showed no empathy, he did not stop to ask if she was okay, she took pictures of her face she had BLOOD running down her left side of her cheek and forehead. She explained how he would proceed to complete a "dental cleaning," where he would poke the pick of his dental appartise between her teeth and yank down and he would pull at her gums. This is very bad for a dental professional to conduct himself in such a manner to a minor. I was referred to by a very good friend, whom I consider a family friend. Despite that knowledge, I considered her referral for face value and believed he would treat any new patient with kindness and value for choosing his facility over the plethora in Lubbock."
