"My husband and I visited this hotel this past weekend for one night only for a quick anniversary getaway. I booked a private king suite. Once we arrived at 3:30pm, which is 30 minutes after check-in begins, we were told the room we booked was not available. We were offered a disabled room and told that that was all they had available. We agreed to the room but once we got through the door we heard all of the people next door due to the room having an adjoining door. It did not matter where you stood in the room you could clearly hear the conversations next door. We did not settle in the room. Instead I called downstairs letting them know that this was unacceptable. They claimed the manager had left for the day and so had housekeeping, even though when we got off the elevator onto our floor we saw a housekeeper still working. I called corporate and spoke to several people who could not help. I was transfered to the promotional department and given 500 points. They also tried to sell me a deal while I was trying to get help with my situation. I was told by another associate that the front desk at the hotel would be calling me to try to resolve the situation. I never got that call. We decided to leave the hotel for a few hours even though the main reason we came was for rest and relaxation. When we returned I fell ill and needed more towels and blankets. I called the front desk and was put on hold at 1:06am. I hung up and continued to make do with what I had. I took a shower to try to feel better and I cut my foot on the tile that was loose and coming up out of the floor. I did not bother staff with this being that I had already had poor customer service. Eventually around 2am I was able to fall asleep. We woke up and went home in a horrible mood because of the night we had just had. We did not enjoy our stay."
