"The trees are beautiful and it just screams peace and serenity."
"Made a reservation. They accepted and sent me a confirmation number which meant nothing. I paid for it I had a weeklong reservation. They canceled because they had someone come in with a month-long reservation. Would not recommend staying here at all."
"LOVE my home away from home. Small and cozy. Longe timers pretty much know each other and watch out for each other. LOVE IT!! Amy does a great job keeping us posted on important info."
"I hate to be so direct, but in over 20 years of traveling with our RV, this is the worst RV park we have ever visited. In fact I would not call it an RV park, but a weed field with a dirt road. I would like to be generous as the owner was nice enough on the phone, but the following are the issues: 1) There is no official name sign on the turnoff. Just a “now open” sign and the turn radius is very sharp. We only found it with our GPS. 2) No manager was ever on property for the 3 days we were onsite. 3) The sites are all dirt back-in and not near level. 4) There are some sites with trees, but not many. 5) There are no picnic tables or concrete pads for tables or grills, etc. 6) There is no grass anywhere, just tall weeds. It does not look like there has been any care taken with the property. 7) There are no spaces (grass or etc,) for pets. We had to walk our dog in the weeds or dirt. 8) There is internet, but no cable or satellite. We were able to get a very limited amount of channels from our antenna from Austin area. 9) No other amenities yet the price is equivalent to other, much nicer parks. All in all, we will never go back and we certainly could never recommend it for short or long term stays."
"Wife and kids loved being so close to Bastrop State Park. We will be back!"
