Comfort Suites Buda - Austin South

"The property is very nice, inside and out. Easy to get to from the highway, and close to plenty of places to eat (including the HEB). Anthony checked us in, and it was a smooth process even without the electronic registration tablet. I got a suite with a king bed, and the room looked like it had been updated in the last 2 years. The free, hot breakfast was good too."

"The rooms here were great and parking is great as long as you don’t have a truck but the only issues I had was my room keys not working due to the fact I would have them near my phone or wallet so my fault there and also I don’t know Who is training the front desk on charging cards but I checked in last week for four days and for some reason the charge for those four days didn’t show up on my bank statement and then I got charged on a Saturday morning the same amount of money that was taken out and I got refunded my extended day fee back on after they charged me again for the room prices it was pretty frustrating because why refund it than charge it again?"

"My stay here is really comfortable, and I'd recommend staying here. The night shift front desk Esther has been incredibly helpful and nice. She stands for what working for choice means."

"Comfort Suites at the end of the day did its job. We were in town visiting family and so we really didn't need much when looking for a hotel in the area. We had a big enough room with a larger sized mini fridge and microwave. Now let's talk about the misses that we just couldn't get over: 1. Staff service was okay at best. No one wore uniforms or anything so you couldn't really tell who worked there and who were just kids loitering around the lobby. The few we received help from were nice, but late night staff could be a bit more professional. 2. Room amenities were okay at best. The iron in my room was covered in black goo and when I went to tell the staff this, funny enough there was another iron on the reception desk that another guest was returning because it didn't work. My mom also stayed here and her iron was not working either. Lastly, the toilet worked sometimes. It would take at least 30 minutes to fill up and didn't flush correctly half the time. 3. Walls are super super thin. Most of the time we were either bothered by the children running up and down the hallway yelling, or the neighbors next door who decide to blast music at 0600 and late into the night. TLDR; This hotel is really only an option if you aren't expecting much from the hotel in terms of service and use. If you are really only looking for a place to crash for a night or two, then this is a great place for you."

"This place was nice overall. The location was very convenient for me during my stay. They had a pool and a bar. However, the bar was not in operation while I was there. The room was nice, although there were a few flaws that I noticed. My restroom has water damage on the roof. The walls were a little thin because I could hear doors slamming throughout the day. Also, they thought I checked out early and accidentally gave my room away. The plus side, the room was really clean. They served breakfast in the morning with a working ice machine. The food was really good for what it's worth, but it did the job. Overall all, when I come back, I'll be back there for a few nights. Sorry, I didn't take a lot of pictures here."
