"We visited on the weekend for concert in the cave with no name. We arrived late in the afternoon and found the room to be spacious and clean. It was large size and had a nice bathroom. It also had a comfort room with some snacks, bottled water, and ice. Proximity was close to restaurants and stores in the town. I would definitely recommend on a visit to Boerne."
"Gorgeous hotel but also a little weird. That's why I put both luxury and great value because it's a mix of the two. It could easily be a five star resort if they changed a couple quick things. The price makes it great value so I can't complain too much! Honestly, the nicest room and bed I've slept in maybe ever and I constantly frequent five star resorts. It's nicer than the Shangri-La room I recently stayed in. I honestly can't tell you how nice the sheets were in that bed!!! It's also on a beautiful shopping street and the neighbourhood is so cute. There's restaurants all around as well. The reason why I gave four stars was a few key things that they need to change. First of all, there is no key to the room only a passcode so you need to ensure that you write down the passcode otherwise you will be locked out. This almost happened to me. Second, there is no person there and no front desk so you need to call if you need anything and hope they answer. I find that odd because if there's a problem in the hotel nobody is there to address it. On top of that, the toilet paper is very scratchy. They did not clean my room or give me fresh towels the next day, but they do provide a lot so it wasn't a big deal. Finally, there's no mini fridge and no glasses in the room. If none of these things bother you then I would definitely recommend it. I would stay here again for sure. I would also pay more for this resort if they fixed the quick things above. Seriously though, write down your password because if your phone dies you get locked out."
"The hotel is GORGEOUS. The location spectacular! It's on the 2nd floor of the building there is an elevator in the back close the designated hotel parking area (which is BEHIND a Bank of America) The rooms are well kept, and very beautiful. Loved the details in the decor. They have a room where you can grab complimentary drinks and small snacks from. We paid for the breakfast (just be warned it is not walking distance) the breakfast is at a bakery/cake just a few minutes drive from the hotel."
"Wife and I wanted to spend time in Boerne and picked Hotel William for our stay. Centrally located and classy looking we happily chose to stay in their deluxe king size room overlooking Main Street. The room was decorated beautifully but attention to details were lacking. 1st the bed is way too high..you need a running start to get into bed (difficult if you elderly). Unfortunately the toilet paper is the absolute cheapest (30 grit I think) that you find in the cheapest of hotels. Although the bed sheets are nice, they are so heavily perfumed that it’s difficult to sleep with the headache you get from it. And the cream de la cream … you can’t adjust the ac/heat to your choosing. The ac has min and max settings on the thermostat. Ugh! Last recommendation, don’t call in to make reservations. Besides the “admin” fee, they charge way more than one of the travel apps."
