Motel 6 Irving, TX - Irving DFW Airport South

"It was okay for the purpose of staying 11 hours until my flight. Nothing special & my room was really small. The shower was " interesting". Anyone larger than 120 pounds or people with mobility issues would find it challenging. Also, the water was very warm but not hot. Tried it multiple times. It was clean & staff was very friendly & helpful. Location couldn't be in better proximity to the airport. Free shuttle at 400 am was on time. We had a large group leaving the motel for the airport & some had to wait for a different shuttle van. So plan on leaving extra early. The room was okay for the sole purpose of travel. No issues"

"Had a one night layover at DFW and stayed at this Motel 6. Our room was very clean, quiet and staff was very welcoming. Even offered to keep our luggage after check out so that we could head out for breakfast. If I happen to need accommodation near DFW again, will for sure come back."

"Stayed here for a night intown for work . Two different staff people came to my room accusing of smoking weed first time i was in the shower second time i was on the phone with my wife and kids I even asked the lady you want to come in nobody is smoking!! She went on to say just stop and no no i repeated louder that no one ! Is smoking she says o let me check with other rooms but Why are we the first and only room y'all are coming to and accusing me and my partner felt very judged and uncomfortable here I advice anyone of color do not go here !"

"I recently stayed here due to a canceled flight. While I can't complain too much for the room was free and the location was close to the airport, my room wasn't the best. It had a couple of stains on the bed sheets and an already used towel in the bathroom. I also woke up to cockroaches in the bathroom as well. I am thankful that the front desk guy came in to kill them but I would not stay here ever again. I should have slept at the airport instead."

"I stayed here over the weekend, it was worth what you pay for. Upon entering the room, it was very warm because the room’s AC are usually kept off before guests check in. After cranking the AC, the room stayed perfectly chilled at 60F for the entire weekend without shutting off. The place did not have shampoo or conditioner but that isn’t a problem. Also, there were absolutely NO bugs or roaches. The building’s security was sketchy. Though the exterior doors requires a guest’s room card to enter, the back doors were sometimes left slightly open which was concerning. Overall the place was good for what I paid for."
