"I stayed a night here at Motel 6. Morning came and a strange man appeared inside of my room door. He was with the cleaning staff and used a key to help himself in my room without even a single knock. I was not prepared or even dressed. They did this three times within ten minutes. This frightened me very much. He asked "Checking out?" 45 minutes before scheduled check out time. I was very uncomfortable and even scared to be there as a guest. I will never stay at this location again. I recommend anyone whom needs a room for the night to go across the street."
"No room key!! Seriously. The manager came and opened our door and said there was no key. It was late and we were very tired so we just went to bed. The manager didn’t offer any discount! In addition, the room was dirty and falling apart. The cleaning staff blared music at 6 am and the furniture was thread bare. I know it is Motel 6, but no key, for $105, come on!!"
"Horrible! Sheets are stained with idk what... and have holes all over them. The bed covers that are dark green has stains all over them as well. Walls, shower and hand towels are ALL dirty! It's time for some upgrades Motel 6! Or new Management! On top of all that... we were charged $120 for 2 beds ("all they have"), when in fact the room next to us and under us both had curtains open (available!) and one bed!!! This place is a rip-off!"
"Horrible is the best adjective!! Our stay at the Motel 6 at 4024 Melear St Arlington Tx. This room was booked under my husband's name and I checked us out on Nov 7, 2023. First off, the staff needs more training in English, we could barely communicate the entire time and they made no effort to try and assist us. The staff also needs training with customer service, they made us feel like we were bugging them the entire time, even just asking for more towels. The room itself was not that clean, the handles and hardware (for sinks and bathtub) looked so disgusting we didn't want to touch them. So the day we checked out, we needed to book another night and we didn't have all the money. I told them our situation (we were about to be homeless) and I was trying to get the other half of the money to book. At first, the guy told me they could give me like an extra hour or two but not longer than that. So by 12:15,. I was told by the manager (a woman who drives a blue Tesla) and that was fine, I knew I only had a little time. So me and my children start to load up the U haul truck we were in, the door to the truck was up and we had to room door propped open (clearly moving out) when all of a sudden the same guy who said they could give us a little more time, comes to the room cursing me out, in front of my children. He was so aggressive and very angry and it got ugly. He was so aggressive and angry I called the Arlington Police dept to have them come and be there while me and the kids moved out of the room. I was scared, I was shaking and crying and I could not believe this was a place of business. No one should be treated like that for any reason from a business/staff. I wanted to send this info to you all, this incident took place on Nov 7, 2023 around 12:30-1:00 pm. The 2 officers stayed there until we were completely done and left. We have stayed in other locations of Motel 6 ( Lancaster, Red Oak and Duncanville) all were very nice and we were treated nice but this location on Melear is HORRIBLE. Needless to say we will never ever go there again, no matter how homeless we may be."
"The rooms are dirty ESPECIALLY the bathrooms. The toilets don’t get cleaned and the floor and showers are horrible. Black stains everywhere dirt and mildew. The staff is rude! Sunny is horrible! He refuses to give you receipts when asked and has a nasty personality towards paying customers. They need to professionally hospital grade disinfect the rooms. Mildew and fort everywhere. They overcharge customers. $100 on the weekends and $70 during the week. No laundry facility, no pool, and you can’t even walk in the office you have to be outside during the day and night. Not safe at all!"
