Motel 6 Fort Worth, TX - Stockyards

"We had a really nice stay at this place. It was in a great location to get to downtown and the stockyards. Lance was so kind to us. The rooms look like they had recently been renovated. Overall wonderful experience."

"I give no stars and would give negative if it was possible. After looking on the website listing that said $88 for the night, we got there and was told it was $105. I understand the checking in early fee on top of that, but there was nobody there. Maybe 2 cars total. The room we got had a mini fridge NOT plugged in and we weren't even sure it worked since it looked like it was from 1980. We did not plug it in to find out. There were tears and burn holes in both the sheets and the 1970 very thin blanket on the bed. No cups to speak of only a plastic ice bucket and small trash liner to put in it. There was towels, one of each size for two adults. Went to take a shower, nothing but drops from the shower head. Had to get on hands and knees to wash hair in the bath faucet. Bed felt like a 1970 hide a bed mattress and sounded like thunder when you tried to get comfortable. We ended up going to the store and bought a blanket and 2 pillows just to get a little sleep. I know this is listed as a one star motel but sadly that is being generous. Save some money and go ahead and find a different place."

"Such a welcoming place, I was greeted as soon as I walked up by the front managers they were super friendly and kind I chose this place for my birthday, it’s a great price and location! I’m happy I choose here! Rooms are cute they have some modern retro accents and I love the colors!"

"Walked into a dirty room, live roaches crawling on the mirrors and dead ones all over , the sheets had burn holes all over. When we got there I looked at the reviews and I saw a review about blue stains on the bed and I’m pretty sure we got that same room. Blue stains still on one of the beds. There was also dirt all over the sheets that looked like bugs. The towels were dirty and just rolled and stocked again. My husband went to get a refund and the owner happened to be there and we were given no issues in regard to the refund. Would not recommend."

"I do NOT recommend this hotel. As soon as we got into our room there were bugs everywhere, cockroaches and centerpieces specifically. They clearly did not clean, cause not only was there live bugs but also dead and squished bugs all over the floor. I picked up my pillow to inspect the bed to make sure there was no bugs in it. And under the pillow was weed stems and little bits of weed. Along with lots of dirt. And on the other bed there was vibrant blue stains indicating that they have not washed the bedding prior to putting us into the room. The “mattress” is just a box spring. Very uncomfortable. No fridge. No microwave. And what looks like a bullet hole in the curtains!!! My grandmother originally booked this room for me and my mother and they said she did not pay for it, even though we had the confirmation for the correct hotel and address, and the money was taken from her account. They also have a “no cancellation fee” so my grandma was not able to get her money back. And my mom had to pay for it. we did get a refund though because we were NOT going to be staying at this motel. Horrible horrible horrible experience!!"
