"10pm I get a few soft knocks before the door is unlocked by the guy from the lobby, I'm happy I had the top lock folded over. I was startled that it even happened, he had a previous tenant there bc she left something plugged into the TV, she came in to unplug it. I don't understand why the phone wasn't used to call ahead.Scared my young son, took hours to get him to sleep. I've called the customer service line, I've called the manager and no one has bothered to apologize for the situation. I don't recommend this place at all"
"I rented a 2 night stay for my daughter and her dog, upon check-in, the 2 working at the hotel desk told her it’s not as bad as it looks and she’ll be safe there well that night she said it was noisy all night and she couldn’t get any sleep. The next morning, she went into the lobby and complained to the girl up at the front desk, and the girl told her we can help you. It’s not our responsibility to give you a good nights sleep., which I get part of that but if it’s extremely noisy all night shouldn’t they have offered to at least relocate her! I would be careful here. Spend the $100 a night and be safe!"
"The low price may seem like it’s a good deal but ask yourself. What’s a stress free, comfortable, good nights rest really worth? Tons of small things wrong - toilet paper holder broken - room smelled bad - uncomfortable pillows - poorly insulated doors and windows. You can hear people talking outside really easy. - no trash bin in my room - weak shower - lame breakfast Big issue is at this price point it’s hard to hire people. So at 11pm, after a long day at work I try to go to my room just to find out my key isn’t working. I head to the front desk only to find a sign that says to call an 800 number. When I call the front desk, the phone at the front desk starts ringing, well, besides me there’s no one here. So I call again and this time talk to corporate. They unsurprisingly also tell me to call the front desk. I explain there’s no one here and to prove a point I ask them to call the front desk. This time when the phone rings at the front desk, I answer it to demonstrate there’s no one actually here. Took half an hour for someone to show up to fix my key. In hindsight, I should have spent a couple bucks more and stated elsewhere"
"I checked in Thursday night it was a 45 minute process due to the fact that this establishments card reader only works with tap-to-pay cards which mine is not. So after my wife loaded her card info onto her phone we were able pay that way and get checked in. We left our room early Friday morning and when we returned we could not get into our room due to a faulty lock. After maintenance broke into the room with a large screwdriver and pry bar (another 30 minute process) I had to load all of our belongings back into my truck since we no longer had a functioning door and had to get back to the event we were there for. Upon returning to the hotel Friday evening management told me they did not have another room for us to stay in but our rooms door had been fixed. We then again unloaded all of our belongings back into the room for the second time. At this time we were going to shower and change so we could go eat. This is when we noticed all the towels and wash rags were disgustingly stained and nasty looking. Got ready to leave the room when I noticed the door now will not lock at all. Again maintenance shows up. The solution this time was to take a door lock mechanism from another room and install on our door (another 45 minute process). So after getting new key’s programmed to the new lock mechanism we were finally able to leave to eat. While we were out we had to go to Ross and purchase our own towels and wash rags, an additional expense. Saturday evening upon returning to our room we discovered it was freezing cold and the heater was blowing cold air. I went to the front desk were I was told there was nobody available to look at the heater so I asked for additional blankets just to get through the night as we were checking out Sunday morning. Low and behold they did not have ANY Blankets to provide me. Here I go again to wal-mart to buy blankets (they were sold out of space heaters) then to Target where I was able to purchase two space heaters (another additional expense). Upon checking out Sunday morning I let management know of all the issues I incurred and his response was “oh I’m sorry”. This was by far my worst hotel experience ever. I highly recommend nobody stay at this location."
