"We normally spend nights while on the road in Walmart RV friendly parking lots. However, during the recent arctic blast we chose this option in order to electrical hookup to keep up with the abnormally low temps. We were encouraged by the reviews of this place and the benevolence of the city in providing this for overnight stays. We were even cool with leaving a generous donation until we experienced the horrors. The entire park is littered with dog feces and at least two of the full time residents let their dogs roam free off leash constantly with constant barking by dogs in nearly ever coach/trailer as we walked out dog thru the park. One of the bathroom doors does not close and stays halfway open, in the other bathroom the toilet water line was frozen solid, couldn't flush but the sink water ran freely. To top it all off, we picked up a screw in the sidewall of our left front tire. Not a pleasant experience at all."

"As a city park I would rate it a 4 star, but free rv parking with electric for a 24 hr stay it deserves a 5 star rating. Enough room for 30 rv’s and a separate tent camper area. The park itself offers the usual bathrooms, picnic tables, kids playground, dumpsters and a dog park."

"It’s an ok place for an overnight stay. It’s really nice that the city does this for donations only. Nice to have power on a quick overnight stop. Park to walk the dogs and there is a dog park although we didn’t use that. Quite a few trains and they are RIGHT next door so it’s a little loud. You’re also right off the freeway so lots of noise but we had the air on so it drowned most of that out. Sites are big enough (we have a 41 ft 5th)."

"Thankful the city makes this available for quick overnight stays. Don't forget to visit the donation box. It is a large parking lot with electric hookups. 30 and 50 amp. Plenty of places close by to eat or pick up anything you may need. The train comes through 2 or 3 times a night."
